I just read a post about bluetooth not hanging up call.. I thought it was just me...So its a ROM problem? huh.. I need to read more closely when Im scrolling thru the pages..lol is there a fix out there?

I tried shutting off Sense and just going to the Titainum interface with the Energy 2010 Leather theme and the bluetooth hang up problem disappears. I am currently running the 29007 (?) Jan 23rd Cookie 2.0 rom version. Does anyone know just off hand if the hangup problem exists in the "stripped" rom versions or in the MaxSense version? I may try them this evening when time permits and see how they behave.

anyone else getting random freezing with 23rd? screen has no motion, will not turn off, but hard buttons bklight time off works, and turn back on when pressed. Waited 5min, but nothing, so pretty sure it's n actually freeze

Not that I know of. The only thing that I found that works so far is to disable Sense and use the Titanium (Windows defaultin settings). Not much of an option. I have tried all of the other Energy builds and have not found one that will hang up.

@tera ive been using the cooked in version of swype since 1/23 and it is working fine. no freezing lagging stalling or any other weird issues. ive noticed that nrg's cooked in version uses less files and the files are in different locations. you asked for a short explanation about swype for the wiki?well after trying many swype cabs id have to say:

nrg's cooked in version of swype works great. it is the only version I have used that works with no lagging it freezing issues.

And this is exactly why if I had to stick with a MS mobile OS, it'll be with winmo65x for now. We know the chefs have torn apart everything so we are not completely surprised as to what garbage is running behind the scenes. I agree with both of you. My main point (which I did not make clear, as my wife is constantly telling me, heh heh) was that Kim Komando, who's daily news letter go out to a 1/2 million people, was calling Windows Mobile 7 phones a brick! If I had posted the rest of the article you would have seen she was recommending android or Apple. Granted, she is a big windows desktop fan, but with mobile friends like her who needs enemy's.

a tad off ROM topic... but, what are y'all doing with windows 7 email & sync (Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC))?

have to DL essentials, to get "windows live mail" local mail client (outlook express replacement)... problem is... you can't tell it unread only or only DL messages in the last 30 days... big problem... I've got 10's of thousands of emails in yahoo, gmail, hotmail, and a couple dozen of my godaddy hosting & domain name accounts... I would like to manage all from one place, like i use to...

seems to me I had outlook setup to only DL unread emails..
but new "windows live mail" (local client of essentials) DL's ALL of the emails! Don't want 10's of thousands local, nor do I want to spend hours/days cleaning up all my ginormus email accounts...

So, went to install Thunderbird, as it will DL only unread emails.. but then I end up with a sync problem with contacts & calendar! arrrgggg... looked @ birdiesync & finchsynce, pay prog & pain java one... many say finch is a real pain & only works sometimes... dunno if it works on win7.. will try it out

Due to privacy issues and the shear number of accounts, I won't let hotmail or Gmail handle calendar & contacts (like having a gmail account on droid & sync to google on server for contacts.)...

thoughts? am i forced to buy the full blown Win 7 Outlook? If so, can it be setup to do only unread & last xxx days? (I think yes on unread, no on last # of days.). can I install Office 2007 on Windows 7?
*edit* it appears you can (via google), anyone doing this? Any issues? Going to search around ppcgeeks, maybe someone wrote up something on this...
*edit 2* here's what I found so far... here and here.. (wp7 is mentioned but... their phones are tp2 & touch).. anyone have an easy button for a tp2 win7 pc? :>)) lol!

To sum this up: looking for a local mail client on a win7 pc that'll DL only unread & sync contacts & calendar with my WP 6.5.3 TP2. (don't even want email sync'd, and would be real nice of PC side client would also only DL emails in the last xxx days (example 30)).

Yes, I have been having a lot of freezes and lockups with most of the ROMs in the last few weeks, I can not find a method to the madness but it usually appears to be Cookie 2.0 messing up. The last really stable one I had was Dec 13th. So if any one knows where that could be downloaded, I would appreciate it.

I have had enough. My Jan 16th ROM locked up again. So I flashed the Last MaxSense. I do not know if it's the build or what, but this ROM is FANTASTIC. 28244 seems to be much faster than the newer builds. I love the interface. Now I'm gonna load it up and see if I can break it.

I'm also getting the impression that Cookie 2.0 is at the root of all the bugs and lockups... I had very few issues with 1.85.

NRG, Please offer versions with the older Cookie 1.85!!
