Re: [3/27/2010] MikROM [Sense 2.5 | 21897 / 23551 | Lite & Standard Versions]
Thank you for your help Sabroso,
The text lock up that was referred to by IronRed was after going to messages tab in Sense then going to all messages. Edit or send a message from this view then while exiting back to home or closing the All messages view seems to cause the phone to lock up. Did not look to see what sys Ironred was using, I did not uninstall Manila locker (actually like it), Have tried the suggestion of removing messages with attachments with no change. I have tried manually configuring both TeleNav and Google maps with no change (still weak signal and zero satellites found) Found the Destinator 9 but cannot find any USA Maps via Google. Really do not see why another program is needed, TeleNav should work with Sprint, just cannot seem to get it to find the satellites. Has anyone else gotten the GPS to work? If so how? Amikam, maybe a cab could be posted to get GPS to work or cook TeleNav back in the lite version? Just a thought, really just need this feature to work. Thanks again for all your hard work. Thanks again. |

First step: let me know if you have in "HTC Home tab" the "My location weather" working fine??? (that means that your automaticaly local weather is automaticaly know where you are (town, city, country), so if you move to other place automaticaly relocate it with that local weather. So actually you are seeing at the home tab your local weather not manually set, isn't it?? Ok, second step: What version of G-maps are you using?? I remmember people telling having problem with v3.2, so download the last one which is v4.0.0.81 from this link here (if it is not the one you are using today). Now we both have the same version on G-maps, Third step: Open G-maps, go to menu--> "option" : tell me what text appear in the first row (it can be "USE GPS" or "Turn Off GPS") ?? and now go to "GPS setting" and tell me what is the settings ("Managed by Windows" or "set Manually")?? Ok return to map view and Next go to "menu" --> "Help" --> "about" : what text appear in this categories: a) Total data received; b) cache size; c) Platform; d) battery; e) myl; f) wifi ??? and close G-maps. Fourth Step: Press start button --> Settings --> Personal --> Phone , you will be now in "Settings" (Voicemail/sounds-rings settings) windows go to "Services" TAB (at the bottom) You will see a square with a list of "phone service settings" select "Location Setting" and press "Get Settings" and tell me which option is mark (on or off). Ok now I will wait for your answer Shanep13 Quote:

![]() Thanks for the image. I'm not sure if you mean the taskbar, but they look like the originals. Could you point out what you like about them or what is different about them. On side note, you probably know this, but just in case you were inquiring about the theme. The theme is from s2w. Here is a link to his thread. It would seem that it is design for the tp2,but why not give it a try, it may work. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=91156 On another side note, I have found that I have become annoyed with the keyboards I have use lately. While watching tv, I saw a commercial for samsung and it showed a guy text messaging with swype. Now I remember reading about it on xda forums, but never gave it a second glimpse. I saw that fr3sh_t0_d3f had released a new rom and included swype in it. I gave it a try and must admit that I like it. So for anybody who wants to try a new keyboard, why not give swype a try. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=109202 Last edited by Dex2; 04-04-2010 at 10:07 AM. |
