1. did you read the wiki/faq in post #6? It would have asked you to post the version of the Energy ROMs you are trying.

or Energy.RHODCDMA.28244.Titanium.Feb.14.7z. There the ones. Accept the date i got the Gtx is the Feb 1.


2. When did this problem happen? only after you flashed one of the ROMs listed above?

Everytime i flash one of the roms here. The first ROM i have ever tried here was the Gtx jan 26 and the volume button did not work for the volume. than i updated to the Gtx Feb 1 and same thing happed. Now i thought it was just my phone acting stupid but when i flash my dad phone to the titanium FEB 14 rom the same thing happend to his phone.

3. did you use Energy ROMs before this problem?

This problem started when i started using the energy ROM.

4. Did you try reflashing to the stock Sprint or USCC ROMs to verify this is a custom ROM versus device issue? The stock Sprint ROM URL can be found in the wiki for this thread.

I did flash back to the uscc rom and the volume button worked fine again. When i flash it to the Feb 1 Gtx problem came back again.

With 2 phones at the same time, same thing, sounds like a download issue. I am with USCC and never came across this one. If all else is working fine try using the keyboard config cab found somewhere in the paper-clip and remap the volume keys to volume. Who knows might work.

Also if you deside to reflash, make sure and flash the USCC 3G rap-up rom found on this link first. It updates the radio and the PRI for there nationwide 3G.

EDIT: I have been using my backup TP2 to try and figure out the DRM issue, and have the 2/12 28XXX dinik. Just checked and the volume works just fine. If you like PM me and I will upload the Rom I am using somewere and that would rule in or out the download issue.

On the DRM issue, I have had feedback from ODM, but so far its just getting more specific info and ruling out that I am not just a rube who can't push the right buttons (they must have talked to my wife ). Will update this issue when I get something concrete.

yea i had flash the new uscc already, the volume button worked fine. Once i flash again to the energy ROM it started having the volume button problem again.

Can be, especially depending on how your set up. There are a zillion posts buried in here for searching. Start at FAQ's post 6.
