After lurking for a long time, I finally upgraded from the MR2 to the oct 25 energy cookie 1.85 ROM.
It is a huge improvment over MR2. Learned the hard way that MR2 will not boot on an unlocked phone, but put the phone in bootloader mode and was able to install this ROM. Then did verizon carrier provisioning and the verizon keyboard fix cab.
Just a few questions:

1. I want to use the same home page that the MR2 rom used for the verizon wireless site, but now need the URL since the home page url for the NRG rom is google. Can someone please give mre the URL?

2. If I hit the button to get the onscreen keyboard button, how to I get the onscreen keyboard off the screen again? Hitting the button again just brings up the keyboard selection screen. It does not tak the keyboard off the screen.

Please take a look at these. These are the ONLY real issues I notice with your roms that I did not with stock Sprint roms. When using BT, hangup process will hang and I get the #777 error. I have to wait a minute or so before I can dial another number once I hang up. This one has been around for a long time.

We all appreciate your attention to this ROM project. It has given the TP2 new life and extended the use of this phone well beyond what I expected.

Energy ROM's are always the first to be updated & contain the latest Win OS, HTC Sense, dll's, cabs, apps, etc.. THANK YOU NRG!
*** this list started as a top 5 kinda thing, based on NRG twitter to visit & handle Q's, bugs, etc.. but this has morphed to make these ROM's look like they have tons of issues, they don't .. NGR ROM's ROCK!!! ... that's why we are all using them & always waiting for the next one to flash!!
*** will probably be the last time I bump & update this thing for that reason alone, unless NRG requests it..
*** Most of the items below are simply part of the learning curve.. and are NOT bugs! (don't want to scare off newbies..)

#27598 for #9. i dont think its actually an SOD. its more like you need to keep pressing the power button multiple times until the screen turns on. its like the screen is not powered on but all other functions are working(black screen). also the newer roms do it also. and even with a hard reset with no overclocking, the problem still occurs. i am using sencity 2168X classic oct 25. sometimes i need to push it about 20 times over and over again until screen turns on..occurs with or without lockscreen enabled

New txt msg: Insert picture is sometimes greyed out... looking at a picture (full screen) in the htc album, if you click send to: Messages, it just opens up a standard txt msg.... not a picture mail with the photo already attached. Further: after it opens up the standard txt msg, it's now one of the times you cant insert photo cause it's greyed out. #27629
QA: To send a mms when looking at a picture (full screen), choose e-mail and not messages. Once the next screen appears, choose arcsoft mms picture (I'm assuming nrg cookes arcsoft into the ROM). It will then open arcsoft with the picture inserted for you.

OTHER ISSUES:
VOLUME: #27575 In a Media app (YouTube, HTC Album, CorePlayer, TCPMP, etc.) and try to change the volume, the volume panel thing comes up and if I have a video going on in the background the part of the video outside of the panel freezes while the video continues playing in that little tiny box thing...on the stock ROM that if I change the volume in Media apps like the ones listed above, a HTC style volume indicator would pop up on the side and the video would continue playing like normal.
Fix?:#27581

NRG todo: make the volume screen look like the music/video volume screen in any other app (like for example.. the email or texting app). That would help a lot I'm sure as I woudlnt completely block your view.

Keyboard: Would like for the keyboard to pop up automatically when i hit reply and it brings up the screen to reply to the message. When we set swype as the keyboard it resets to the default keyboard after a soft reset, same thing if i have full qwerty set with xt9.. after a soft reset it defaults back to abc, anyway to make those things stick? #27615
~ideally would prefer to focus on issues with regular & frequent posters here, using Energy ROM's on a daily basis.. (noobs & lurkers welcome)
