Im still rocking my TP2. Though Im very tempted to jump ship to one of the newer Android phones. Not because I dont like WinMo, but because my phone feels like its starting to wear down. It feels so slow and unresponsive. I have to wipe and reinstall a ROM every couple of months to keep it running.

Like recently, the texting on my phone wasnt working. Every time Id boot it up, it would just say "your message could not be sent." Id be recieving texts from people, days late.

These issues sound more like Sprint provisioning and/or connection troubles, than like OS or ROM troubles.

Today is the funeral of Windows Marketplace. I still think windows Mobile 6.5 was a better operating system than Windows Phone 7 & 7.5 is. At least from a customization standpoint. We're on our own here boys, (And girls)

Still using TP2. I do not want to upgrade and I want another TP2 as a back up -- that's how close i am to it. It does everything without being expensive (no extra $10 monthly fee) or gaudy. In fact, it's so well customized that another individual probably could not pick up my phone and navigate.

EnergyRom has made it a perfect phone.

Sorry fellas, I gave up my TP2 to my girlfriend in exchange for the Samsung Galaxy S2 (Epic Touch 4G). Rest assured, I've flashed it from another 'donor' phone and am not paying the extra $10 a month. R.I.P <3 forever

How did you do this (not paying the extra 10)? Would the method work on the old SERO plan? I love my TP2 especially with the 30/month SERO but do think its time for a new phone but don't want to pay all the extra...

I actually just got around to doing this after a year on sero p + premium data. It is pretty easy actually... wish I would have done it sooner. Just google for epic on boost for some guides, videos etc. it is much harder with htc so I would get an et4g and have a nice device on your $30 plan (no 4g though).

sure no problem

Here are the drivers. Best way to install is put your phone in modem mode (##3424#) and connect to pc. the pc will not find the driver so go into device manager and find your phone (should have a ? by it). Then right click on it and update driver. select browse, then let me pick, then next, then have disk. then browse to this folder (after unzipping) and select the driver for x86 or x64 for 64 bit os.

Hey I'm back with a new refurbished TP2 from ebay and loving it for the text sync with MS Exchange that only WinMo 6.5 does right (touchdown on droid is ok but far from perfect) This ROM (29022.Sense2.5.Cookie.1.8.5.Jul.04) is sweet - glad to be back!
