I know battery life has been a constant complaint with the Energy ROMS, but I was doing great until 8/28. I think the 23127 build stink (relatively) at battery life. The last build 8/24 23678 would bring me home about 75% OC'd to 710 off the charger for 14 hours or so. This one comes in less, 60% or so. However, 23678 would only go up to 710, 23127 can sit at 729 Rock solid all day and 748 as long as I don't use the hardware keyboard. I tried leaving it at 710 all day today to make sure the increase in clock was draining the battery faster, but at 710 it still goes quicker. All the same cabs installed, usage, etc. I've seen a few people talk about going back to 8/24, I would but I am (read: my wife is) not allowing myself to flash more than once a week now, so I'm sticking with this one. But if you are on 8/24 and thinking about flashing 8/28 I would say not to. 8/24 Seemed solid, and had better battery life (among 23xxx builds at least). If you are still reading this then you do not have ADHD.

well i haven't got to mess with the android stuff yet but i will within the next couple of days.

i flashed back to 22nd Aug 23678 and can tell the battery life is better all ready, that's why i keep a couple of the past roms that i liked stored on my hard drive so i don't have to try and find it from someone else later.

ROM features at a glance:

• Very fast startup time. You find any startup wizards in this ROM. You'll be up and running in a couple minutes after flashing the ROM.

to caveat what teradog said, which is correct, the first page has all the updated information on the rom series, when NRG updates the rom he updates those posts with any information he has that pertains to them, and if you scroll down a few posts you'll see the changelog which like teradog said has all the information pertaining to the current rom, it shows any system files that were updated and what programs are in the rom, we are not withholding any information from you bro, we get our information from the changelog, flash, post anything we find, work out the bugs if possible or flash back to our last stable rom.

21xxx series rom: WM 6.5, stable

23xxx series rom: WM 6.5.3 cutting edge programs/system files, finger friendly, not so stable

that looks to be maxsense, but the pictures of that rom are from a july version and what's in the download folder on hotfile is 28 august, so if you scroll up one post on the first page and look under the maxsense ui you'll see the download link, open that and it will take you to hotfile and pick which version of the rom you are wanting to download.

Has anyone noticed that in call recording is gone? I mean, you can still choose record, but the start menu entry for it is gone to change where and how it records. I noticed because it was in my Cookie backup file and was an icon. I want to change the settings because now when I record calls, it's like 6 megs for 40 seconds to the Main memory. That aint gonna fly.

although i never use the program, and i'm on 23678 from 22nd august, i do have in call recording set-up on one of my quicklinks, i just clicked it and it came up and then i hit menu and then options and it has the option of what format i wanted to record in and where i wanted it saved to. so basically all i did was click to add a quicklink and selected it from the programs section and now it's a quicklink, can you not have it like that?

ALL of the ROM download links are on the first page, 2nd post. Look for the samll "DOWNLOAD" icon under the description of each ROM. The page you posted is mainly screenshots from an older ROM (as kiowa pointed out).

For those of you confused about the nomenclature of the 21xxx and 23xxx, they are not numbered in order, eg 23123, 23124, 23125, etc. The build numbers are branches and the mumbering sequnece is kind of wonky but it is not numerical.

As for the differences between 21xxx and 23xxx...as it has been pointed out many times, the 21xxx builds are based on WM 6.5 and have the start button in the upper left and are LESS finger friendly and (for the most part) MORE stable.

23xxx builds are based on WM 6.5.x and are mostly beta builds, are MORE finger friendly and (somewhat) LESS stable (YMMV). With the 23xxx builds, the start button is in the bottom left part of your screen.

More SOD for me with Aug 28 23xxx dinik. It happens after a call. Phone just won't come out of sleep. My notification light is blinking so I know the phone is on.
