I'm having sound problems... I find that when the phone is plugged in, either to the wall or computer, it is inconsistent in delivering sound alerts. When I'm having a text conversation, and it hooked up to the computer (in charge and sync mode), it doesn't always *beep* when I recieve a text, or it will only half *bleep*. I also noticed it doesn't always give the volume up and down sounds when I change the volume. It also isn't consistent when doing the alarm.

I noticed this problem happening since the December roms came out...And it only happens when it is charging, or in the HTC SMS conversations page and charging.

Can anyone give some insight? I don't know why its doing this, but its causing problems...like not waking up in time...

I just flashed 29005 ref. and it seems to be extremely stable, snappy and reliable.

So I also updated to the Dec 13 29005 Energy Rom...And now nothing is right. Windows Lock: not locking.
Physical hardware buttons: The windows button is like the cancel button. no other button responds
Backlight: keeps reverting back to 10 seconds after changing it.

Sense isnt even starting correctly. It just says "Sense is launching...." And never goes to the nice screen.


Is anyone else having these problems?? I task29'd my phone before flashing.

Edit: Let me reiterate....its like my phone had a stroke.

I'd try redownloading the os, use task29, and do a fresh install.

Back up everything on your storage card and use your PC to format it. Copy everything back to the storage card and start over.
Also, try to avoid restoring any settings from your previous ROM and see if that makes a difference.

my suggestion is to hard reset and if that doesn't fix it then redownload the rom you want and then try to flash again, if that don't work then i would suggest a flash to stock rom and then flash to the rom you want and then hard reset and then start setting up your settings, yeah i know not a lot of help but those are the steps that i would do if it was me, also while flashing the rom be careful of what your installing, install one thing at a time and check to make sure things are working and then move on to the next cab and so on until everything is set up like you want it.

I have a question... running the Dec 13th 6.5 energy rom (21916).

I have a constant green "sync" turning arrows on top of the signal bar... any way to get rid of that? my only grudge with this rom... was running the Dec 5th 21916 previously and had the same issue.

I'm on an HTC TP2 telus, I task29 before flashing the new roms... help!!! i'll be a happy camper once this is resolved...
