Thanks, I might just do that. I noticed that NRG's 4th post is for "user added faq's" but is still blank. If he'd be willing, I could write up something and update it as needed.
You may also want to look at the post teradog did (he linked to his post in one of his others) several pages back. It is VERY informative and blows away my "quick faq's". I think the combination of the two, as well as other tips that we've all picked up along the way would be very useful to fill that little void thats been empty for a few months.

On a side note, I got off work early - nobody's dying to get into the hospital today - and decided to give the 8/13 a spin. Being the cutting edge person that I am, I went with the 23xxx CHT flavor with a 0 (zero = dynamic) pagepool and.... WOW! Running great so far but as always, I'm going to give it a few days to settle in and add my cabs and apps one by one.

and yes....I may even do some overclocking.

David

That would be a good idea if you two can put something together to fill the void. That way it gives the new users an idea of where to start with and causal users as well.
I am just curious, do you really see the state ID now on incoming calls? I know this is such a tiny detail, but it blows my mind away seeing that it is finally on NRG roms. And Let me tell you once you go OC, you never look back.

YES, YES and YES its works ( small detail ) but I like it. I've had this phone number for 12yrs. And I get a lot of Tele marketing and I like to see where some of this calls come from. IMO, Now time to load OC.

Re: |RHODCMDA|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- Energy -.¸¸.·´¯ * |Aug 13| 21911|23129 * Sense 2018

Quick question. My screen has been randomly turning on for no reason.

Yesterday at work, my phone screen randomly turned on while sitting on my desk. This morning when I got up, the screen was on for who knows how many hours.

Anyone have any idea why or how to fix it? Nothing is set to "display message on screen" except for text messages and reminders, but I had no appointments or reminders or alarms set, did not receive a text message, etc.

I don't believe it happened in previous builds, but I'm not 100% sure of that.

There are a couple things that will cause that to happen, neither of which are ROM related. First, and most common is the phone switching from tower to tower or in and out of roam. Happens to me a lot in the hospital I work at, especially when I'm in "shielded" rooms.

Also, if you have a slipcase with a magnetic closure, the magnet in the flap or the case will trigger the magnetic sensor that senses when the stylus is pulled out and the screen will turn on. Its more a problem for me if I'm even near one of our MRI units. No real fix that I know of.

To possibly solve the first problem, you could try turning of Roam.

Don't use a case, so that's not it. I'm loading up the Aug 13th release, and if I still have this problem, then I'll disable roam and see what happens.
