I've been reading reports of the "sleep of death". It's due to the Verizon driver set I've switched to for the last couple of ROM releases. Now, I switched back to the USC driverset and I havent had any "sleep of death" issues. Sooo.... are you guys up to a refresh of ALL the TP2 CDMA ROMs with this USC driverset ? I guess you only have to reflash if you have this problem, although I woudl recommend doing so, because having your phone die on you in your pocket and you not even knowing about it, really sucks...
While the USC driverset is a tiny bit older, it's obviously better for this ROM. I dont see any speed differences either...

So.. opinions ?

If you guys want to add battery to it... we need to define it a little more clear... ie- when someone wants to know how to "fix" battery issues, or complaining about the battery, or just flat out the word "battery", or everytime adam1 post (because it would definately have the word battery) JUST KIDDING!!!

I think it should be either "fix" or "complain" which many times are so close as 2b no different.

I don't know that I would qualify mine as the "sleep of death" necessarily, but several times with the Mar.7 and Mar.9 ROMs I've had issues getting the screen to come back on. I've found sliding the keyboard out and then back in, then pressing the top power button to get the screen on sometimes helps, but I'm not too confident in that link. It's getting pretty frustrating, and I may go back to the Mar.5 ROM for awhile, which didn't have any issues for me. My vote would be to go back to the USC driver set if your suspicion is the VZW set is what's causing that. Thanks for all your hard work

Sorry to repeat myself, but I still have problems with the camera; it fails to initialize. I've hard reset, then reflashed, then hard reset, then went to stock, flashed back, and hard reset, and the problem continues.

I'm up for going back to the USC driverset. I've had the sleep of death twice. Not a lot obviously, but as you said, having it die in your pocket without knowing it sucks.
