Hello, has anybody been able to figure out where is the Microphone Automatic Gain Control (AGC) on the newest ROMs? thanks in advance!

didn't know we was looking for it lol. ummmm....i take it that you are trying to find it so you can raise the volume up higher than it is now?

Actually I was wondering the same thing. Really haven't missed it but now that you mention it...

AGC uses the phones two microphones to cancel some noise and make the call a little clearer.
Last time I saw it on any ROM was my stock rom. Haven't seen it on any cooked ROMS.

I made a cab for you guys since I was bored. It's the stock AGC from the Sprint Sense 2.5 ROM that I made from the package in my kitchen. I can't test it since I already cooked it in my ROM. Let me know if it works or not. It's just 4 files and maybe 9 registry entries.

edit - it should be under start-settings-system after you reset your device.

ah thanks for clearing that up, never heard of it before, i'm sure some more noise canceling would be great, but i have never had any complaints about noise now.

i guess i take my complaint back about battery on the new CHT 2.0, took phone off of charger at 0730, made a couple of calls, 10-15 texts, messed with the settings for a little while and here it is almost 4pm and still have 76%, i think that's pretty good, i'm not looking to get a couple of days out of the battery but a days worth i think is very good.

When using the Wifi Router my phone goes to sleep and i lose connection. Is there a way to either (a) keep the phone from going to sleep or (b) keep it tethered while the phone is asleep? I believe on MightyROM it never went to sleep while running the app but then the phone gets hot so i like to turn off the screen. Even when i tried setting wifi to staying connected when in standby in BSB Tweaks it still cut off

try the wifi in standby in the paperclip and see if that fixes you up.

Try the "WiFi on standby" cab in the paperclip in this thread.

did the java app change within the last couple of builds.. i noticed i wanted to install opera mini again (java version obviously) and it was giving me issues like cannot connect to internet, i recall there was some settings for java apps to change for it to work but i cant seem to find them. anyone?
