Thanks again. I tried installing that cab too and did a soft reset but no luck with this either.

I have actually confirmed that the disconnect happens as soon as the phone goes to sleep.

These are the cabs I tried:

kurniawan77 CMInternetSharing_1_2_2_0.cab (460.5 KB,
wi-fi on in standby

And it doesnt work
Is there another one?

The one included with the ROM is fine. Not sure why the cab didn't work. What about plugging it in after you connect so it doesn't go into standby?

I have yet to try the 10/7 rom, but if those steps do not work for you, I'd definitely consider upgrading to the new one and testing.

Did you happen to restart either Sense or the phone after disabling those CHT Scheduler profiles?

Programs: basically the OCMan startmenu we discussed a month ago from XDA (which was an apparent kenia1234 startmenu replacement mod)... thread here
I personally don't like it... all programs are nicely 5 wide BUT NO FOLDERS! So, if you have 50 more cabs you load.. it's a real hassle.
Settings: The same as using the slider to goto the settings, but has a button link. I didn't see all the detailed settings in there. When I started on this more RAM trek over a month ago, we had to load another cab that contained all the rest of the more obscure settings files.. I didn't see it, will look again...

PANEL is the only one I'll be using

1. Can you please confirm that Compact Start Menu == QuickMenu?

2. If so, can you also confirm that some of the items in the "Settings" menu are missing in CSM when compared to the original WM6.5 menu?

3. And what's it gonna take to get a screenshot of the Panel start menu

I don't think your problem is carrier provisioning. As a test, I just flashed 21681.Cookie2.Oct8 and immediately installed "Wi-Fi on in Standby.cab". No carrier provisioning and without even resetting, I connected via Wi-Fi, turned the phone off to go into standby, and it's still going strong after 15 minutes.

Another think to try is in Tools > BSB Tweaks > Connections. Make sure that "Wifi Standby" is On.

I finished dinner and what do you know the new cookie 2.0 21681 was up already! And from what I see it's really smooth, and I haven't even overclocked yet!

Tried most of the start menus on the 10/7 rom... Compact is most polished in my opinion. For the extra 2 or 3 mb you get for the sense or panel, you end up with a REALLY simple [kinda ugly] Start Menu. Nice to have options tho... I'm happy with the compact menu.

10/8 seems pretty zippy... setting it up now... staying with CHT 1.8 now, until everything is set with 2.0.
