It works! Thanks for the help. I was confused because at times, that button actually opens/closes the keyboard, but this solution works perfectly.

If the FAQ thing ever occurs- I think the "my battery life sucks right after flashing" should be the first thing posted haha- we've been through quite a number of chats about it

No, it doesn't. But radio thread is on the sticky under TP2 CDMA upgrade.

Have you tried Sashimi or XDA UC? It requires a bit of time before hand to get it all set up, but once you do, everything is pretty much automatic after a fresh flash.

Pardon me for what is probably a Mr. Obvious comment but,...........DO NOT USE THIS CAB IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE SPRINT NETWORK!!!! I learned this the hard way when I was just braking into the whole winmo thing back with my 6800. Only time I ever thought I had actually bricked my phone. Took me 2 days to back out of it, boy was I sweating .

Sorry about that guys once I saw this post i immediately pulled out those cabs and corrected the issue.
There should be no more surprises as I rushed the first cabs but now current ones OK.
GO SAME POST HERE FOR MY NEW CABS!:

I was testing the main cab but wasn't shure if the SD Powermanagement would affect GPS stored on mem card,
Or music or apps loaded there, so I made the cab for without SD tweak.
Try and if you are ok, you should not need the "NoSD_change2.cab "

The problem with the Hypnotics tweak cab:
It seems to be a multi issue cab, not just a battery tweak.
It contains alot of redundant old Dialer graphic reg entrees (about 350) into your registry!!!

The only saving you would notice comes from the fact that he inserted the files and registry from "nueBattery2TP2CDMA-122-v1.2-cab.cab",
into his cab.
I don't Know if he originally posted or not that he put someone else work in his cab.

Anyway the credit for any battery saving certainly goes to the nuebattery cab.
You dont have to use Hypnotic cab for anything as it had only one other reg tweak, (battery polling).
So if you want, just install the original nuebatt cab for TP2 instead.
I will post.

On the Internet Sharing screen:
Menu > Connection Settings > Advanced > Select Networks
Change "Programs that automatically connect to a private network should connect using" > arrow-down and select Sprint

I wonder if this was aslo the solution for "Gozo's" problem but this is very good to know..

I checked and it's already been set to sprint. In fact, that's the default selection.

Thanks for your input though!

you probably need to install the sprint keyboard fix. If you use any special characters in your login or password, they are not correct withoyt installing the keyboard fix cab. See the link in my sigline for the downloads for this thread and look for the "Sprint keyboard fix cab. Load it on your phone and install it.

I touch just below the software keyboard icon - on the magnification slider - to make the keyboard go away. Tapping the icon itself changes between the keyboard modes.

I am running Sept 8 24634 Dinik rom..hoping battery gets better in a day or 2...the one thing that I have seen is on the Calendar tab. The Month view has 2 darker line down the middle and on the week view the highlights to show appointments are to hard to see. Is anyone else having this problem as well?
