Yeah, I'll vouch for that. I'm using it and BT Stereo is working fine with the new version.

Each of these end up with the same result error Cant Connect #777 or whatever it says.

I was thinking the same thing about maybe it was a bad flash or a bad download when I was working with Sep 8th release but the same thing was happening with Sep 14th which had be really confused. Maybe a setting or something....
I previously was running EnergyRom I think it was July 12th or something like that and didnt have a problem with data at all so not sure whats going on. This is the first time Ive had this kind of problem but nothing else is wrong with the build its great just cant figure out this data thing.

Thanks again guys for all your help with this I really appreciate it.
Great more details, but still haven't followed all steps. Have you reflashed July 12?! VERY IMPORTANT If that works, tell us EXACTLY which ROM worked (same as before) & which ones are failing (8th & 14th)

Questions,
-I have the 24634 GTX ROM, I usually have 60 MB RAM free after reboot, I clean the old text messages and have one stock walpaper for everything (the one with a few grass heads). Is that normal? Is it low enough to make my phone run slow? It runs a little slow, but I am not sure how much faster it should run compared to the stock rom.
-I had the registry modified on the stock rom and the tethering worked fine. now I can't tether, the Network box only has the None option and the connect button is grayed. I can't find any old post about it, maybe I don't know how to search. Can anybody please give me the link to where it explains how to fix it?
1. CHT ROms will run slightly sluggish and have lower memory left after boot compared to stock ROM for sure. One reason being, CHT is designed for the HD2 which is 1ghz processer compared to our TP2s 530ish ghz. The memory used for CHT and all the other goodies NRG throws in the ROM causes the lower availability compared to stock.

2. Tethering issue: Sounds like you need a SIM card. There are a few other work arounds. Search SIM card and see what ya find. I'm not sure where to link ya yet.

All,

Just flashed the new version of Energy (Sep 14), which replaced the Aug 28 version I had been running. Everything works great so far, with one exception - I've got e-mail through gmail, and after I download messages they show up in the inbox as expected. However, after I've read them, they no longer appear in the inbox - they just vanish. I have no idea why this is occuring...the only system setting that I could think of was the "Delete Messages Off Server", but I have it set to keep the messages. Any suggestions (including "you're a bonehead...check this!") would be appreciated.

Go to your gmail (on your PC) and look at the "All Mail" link. You'll find them there.

White drains the battery much faster then black.
The GTX Themed is cool, but it must drain the battery faster then any other theme.
Has anyone noticed the difference?

I use the latest GTX 23xxx or 24xxx as we play. I have switched back to the Dinik at times. I don't think there is a giant difference either way. By the time the Rom and battery settle in and everything is working right....we get a new one and I am trying that out. I find the lighter grayish/white background works great for my eyes. It seems easier to read outside for me. I don't want to give up the Cookies in any case.

I think there are many things that drain battery life...BT, bright screen, updates, internet, etc. I would always use the one I like best in any case. I know I am happy with NRG and the many great posters here and now am here exclusively.

I didnt have this issue with the Aug 25th version but the have had it on the last 2 versions. It's kind of annoying.

I'm still having the issue above on the latest 23*** cookie and I'm also having another issue. While using Excel, my phone will freeze up fairly often. Does anyone know if NRG is including a different version of Office or changed something with it? It was working perfectly up till after the Aug 25th versions. I could have lived with out hiding the column/row headers but the constant freezing is just annoying as he//.
