It was working fine for me. Then I installed MAXX's battery saving cab. That broke it. So I uninstalled it and went back to hypnotics

Been having a few SOD's on 8.28 23XXX randomly and it is getting to be very annoying. Not sure if it is worth it to try the 21XXX version of 9.4 or just stick with the 24XXX and hope its fixed.
There is no clock on the taskbar of the 21xxx ROMs. I go back and forth between the 21xxx and the 23xxx ROMs and I always go back to the 21xxx versions because of the far greater stability with my typical setup. I know there are others that do not have stability problems with the 23xxx ROMs, but if you are having issues you may resolve them by running the same setup on a 21xxx ROM. Just my observations and experiences based on flashng a lot of Energy ROMs (and a few others when NRG wasn't looking, for academic purposes only).

Big thank you to you sir! I just flashed 21XXX cookie and it already seems to be a LOT faster than 23XXX 8.28. I will really miss the clock in the top right so does anyone know of a cab that will put it back up there? Trying out hypnotics cab for battery to see if there is a difference between what I do and what he does. Might have to change my battery post in my sig if it works out better.

Anybody know if there's an application to see what task is using an internet connection? I have my data connection configured to disconnect after 30 seconds of inactivity but it always remains connected.

My email is set for 10 minute polling. (Hotmail via exchange sync)
Other things:
Stocks: manual polling
weather: every 3 hours
facebook: 2 hours

Other things running in background for sure:
Lumos
SetCpuSpeed (for overclock)
ActiveSync (ie. the email polling)

On another note, the New_Maxx134_BestComplete_BatterySaving_RegEdits_No SD_change.cab seems to have killed bluetooth for me. (Maxx134, thanks for making it though! Hope to see the final version of it soon)

I wonder if that's my problem with the BT. I'm going to uninstall and retry.

EDIT: yea, I unstalled the NoSD version and now my BT works. damn...

What I could suggest though, everytime someone has a great tip to share with the community, He would just start his post by "Great Tip" then state his post.

That way, we could all just type "Great Tip" in the search thread and that way the "great tips" could always be found easily. I think "Great Tip" should be used. Just my .02 cent

PM your favorite tip to me and I'll put it in the NRG Quick FAQ's linked in my signature line.

One stop shopping for the three most asked for NRG topics all in three sig lines.

BTW, I vote NO to thread clean up. This is my daily social gathering place.
