Been having a few SOD's on 8.28 23XXX randomly and it is getting to be very annoying. Not sure if it is worth it to try the 21XXX version of 9.4 or just stick with the 24XXX and hope its fixed.

There is no clock on the taskbar of the 21xxx ROMs. I go back and forth between the 21xxx and the 23xxx ROMs and I always go back to the 21xxx versions because of the far greater stability with my typical setup. I know there are others that do not have stability problems with the 23xxx ROMs, but if you are having issues you may resolve them by running the same setup on a 21xxx ROM. Just my observations and experiences based on flashng a lot of Energy ROMs (and a few others when NRG wasn't looking, for academic purposes only).
