Sadly Ive Been Threw 8 TP's And Now My NEw One's usb broke (For Once My FAult) so i decided to file a claim for a new TP becase i need the usb to charge sync Etc, did the claim online with Asruion and they offerd me the 7380 aka TP2 with free express so im getting today around 3ish

Lost my phone yesterday between work and the house. Couldn't find it. So I filed the claim and they are sending the 7380. This morning I drive out of the drive way and there's my phone sitting on the curb. Screen is cracked on one edge and it hardly won't open. I'm guessing it fell out of my coat pocket when I was digging in the mail box and got nicked on the road. It works some what... at least I have my SD card from it.

My claim is for a lost phone... but I found it. I have no intention of keeping the phone, since it will probably be blacklisted anyways. How do I send it back to asurion since it is a lost claim? or should I worry about it?

I tried to get a TP2 when my TP was acting up but they replaced it with another TP. Well, after some apps and custom ROMs, I am in love with my phone again...but that doesn't mean that I don't want a TP2 anymore.

I just received my TP2 in the mail today, less than 24hrs since my claim. Amazing how fast it got to me. The online claim process told me that I would be getting a refurb + charger, however I got a new unopened box, accessories and all.

Also like to note for those going the Asurian route, do online claim, don't do it over the phone, talking to a person will likely get you a TP rather than TP2.

Since Asurian has warranty on their phones, I had a claim 6 months ago, when I called yesterday, they were going to replace it with a TP free of charge. Then they came to the conclusion that the phone has water damage because of the color of some sticker indicator on the phone (which I still think is BS because it has not been wet or submerged ever). So then they said that would not be covered under warranty therefore I would be charge the deductable to have it replaced with a TP. I declined and tried online claims, and it offered TP2.

For the folks who received the NIB TP2s from Asurion, what was the shipping weight on the Fedex tracking?

Mine shows 1 lb. I figured it would be at least 2lbs if it was new in the box.

It's a generic weight. When I got my NIB TP2 at a corporate store, it had the phone, battery, and not even a case or anything else. Maybe a spare stylus.

They REALLY got stingy with what is in the box with the TP2.

My original weight said 1 lb / .5 kg. When I looked at the updated tracking this morning Fdx revised it to 2lbs. Once I saw that I knew what was coming..BNIB..sure enough, that is what it was.
