Sprint replacing Touch Pro with Touch Pro 2! - Page 217

UPDATE: I went to the corporate sprint store and they could not fix my phone (sprint sent me a refurb with messed up up/down buttons and sprint navi doesnt work either) so they said they ordered me a new phone and that it should be here Thursday 12-24.. Well I never heard from them and I tried calling them and never got in touch with them so I called customer service and they looked into my account and they never ordered me the phone!!! So Im on the phone with escalations or rentenions... I dont really know who Im speaking with..

They gave me another tp... I'll just have to wait for this one to break.. Then go to asc and hope i'll get a tp2. I think I should qualify for a priority 5. lol I might mention the memo only because they told me about it! I can use this to my advantage!

went to an ASC center yesterday because my phone keeps freezing when charging at night, they did a hard reset and that was it.
They said even if they had the TP2 there was no way I could get it.

supposedly not many people are actually buying the TP2 which is why they dont have many (new & refurbs).

just got off the phone with sprint and the lady said the TP2 is no longer offered as a replacement, even though the lady I talked to yesterday said it was but it's not available currently.

hmmmmm

I am going to call back later to see what happens

Update: I took it to a ASC store and they sent me bcak to the corporate store I got it from bc it hasnt been 30 days since I got a refurb. I went back to the corporate store and they took it and about 5 mins later they said they could do an adcanved exchange and get me into a different model bc i've had so many problems within the last 6 months with this model and that could either give me a treo pro, blackberry tour or fix my touch pro. I politley declined and then he came back 2 mins later and offered a NIB TOUCH PRO2!!! So I said yes! lol I think one of the reasons I was offered that was because it was 30 mins 'til close and the tech didnt want to work on my keyboard! So I got lucky..
So if you are having LEGIT PROBLEMS have faith that you will get into a working phone!

Unfortunately mine's going to be a refurb. Damn I was hoping to have that screen protector. I got UPS tracking via the phone today and it should be here tomorrow. While on the phone I did ask specifically if it were a refurb and they said yes and it was just the phone and battery.
