I am closing in on 1 month with my TP2 after over a year with the TP (I bought the TP the day the first ones shipped last Oct). I have to say that I am extremely happy with the TP2. It is what the TP should have been. I have not had any of the overnight lockups, overheating, etc issues that I had with the TP. The larger screen is very nice. The only negatives for me are the lack of the D Pad (getting used to that) and the missing CTRL key on the keyboard (used Keyboard controller to remap the SMS key to CTRL). Some have complained about the lack of a "flash" for the camera but I never used the flash on the TP.

Hi guys! Just an update...not only did the order go through, I actually received my replacement TP2 in the mail today after having the order placed on yesterday! What are the odds? I'm overly excited and I haven't even opened the box yet!!! Just letting everyone know, it is possible! Just keep at it! Good luck to all! See you on the other side!

That refers to an offer of a different (refurbished) device, not an offer of a NIB (off the shelf) device. The memo clearly states that any issuance of a NIB device requires special permission.

As others have said, the real problem here is that refurbished TP2's are hardly ever available. If they were plentiful, we would all have TP2's by now.

I went to a corporate store last tuesday and they replaced the keypad and then later that day the keypad stoped working altogether...(This is my 3rd tp..) So i went to another corporate store by my job and they ordered me a new phone. But when I got the damn thing the up and down keys didnt work. So I to took it to a ASC and then they offered me the: htc snap, palm treo, palm pre, blackberry tour and the blackberry curve. And she also mentioned the memo saying that they werent even going to attempt to fix my phone. They were supposed to offer me the phones mentioned above as a replacement.... Which is bullsh**! So i had to go to a corporate store and they still couldnt fix it so they had to order me another phone and it is supposed to be here Friday. Im already on my 4th tp.. The 1st one keep freezing on my. The 2nd one.. The screen went completely blank on me but I could still reciever phone calls.

Has anyone in Oklahoma had any luck geting the tp2?

oh man im reading all this and sum people did get the tp2 n other people didnt my hopes aint as high anymore .. well ama call 2mrw and see what happens cuz my tp keyboard aint working anymore it lights up but when i press any button it wont work ..

well hopefully i get a tp2 ...wish me luck guys and i will cum back and update yall bye

guys i just got off the phone with the sprint insurance n they r sending me a tp2 for free man im lucky..all i told dem its that the tp they had send me it was overheatin n the keyboard was mest up..n she was nice n told me we can absolutely replace ur phone for another phone n she was offering me the new phones..but she didnt offer the tp2 and ask for it n she was like yea we can send u that phone lol n i was like helll o yea lol..
so yea guys keep trying n my tp 2 should arrive on tuesday

It's been two weeks since they said they would replace it with a TP2 but it's not available to order. Called this morning and still no. Is that normal guys?

UPDATE: I went to the corporate sprint store and they could not fix my phone (sprint sent me a refurb with messed up up/down buttons and sprint navi doesnt work either) so they said they ordered me a new phone and that it should be here Thursday 12-24.. Well I never heard from them and I tried calling them and never got in touch with them so I called customer service and they looked into my account and they never ordered me the phone!!! So Im on the phone with escalations or rentenions... I dont really know who Im speaking with..
