Yes, mine came with a sim card, and I have a couple more from when I go to other countries, that is one of the reasons I bought this phone, so I can use it in other countries that only have gsm.

Just a level set: thoughts & stuff to try...
1. New TP2's come with a SIM card
2. Take out your battery, there should be a rectangular white card top right, if there is... you're set.
3. So you have a CDMA phone & probably got yours used?
4. Also, any SIM from Walmart should do..? (get a cheapy)
Hadn't even considered looking locally, thanks!

Previous phone was a touch pro (unlocked and booted with just about every rom available at the time). I talked sprint into giving me a touch pro 2 as a free replacement because the touch pro was overheating. It was new, but it did not come with a sim. It took me almost two months of begging before they came through for me.

I'd call them back & tell them your TP2 didn't come with a SIM & persist on having them send you one! :>))

Funny you should mention that because when I got my TP2, the tech at the store took the sim card out and was going to put it in a box behind the counter. I asked him what he was doing and he told me that I wouldn't need it. I told him that since it came with the phone, I probably would and I really didn't want to buy a new one if I traveled out of the country. After a bit of persistence, he gave it back to me.

So, if this is common, then that may be why a few people don't have sim cards. Doesn't make sense why they would want to keep it.

I'm running panoramic launher instead of quick menu and it's much better. (I have the start menu disabled) I have around 83mb of free ram

The nice thing about panoramic launcher is it gives you all of the system options back (you lose them if you choose quick menu)

Having a problem here. I have a Sprint TP2 and flashed the Dinik Glass Rom on my phone but can't seem to find the stock Sprint stuff like Nav, TV, NFL, etc... Are they built into this rom? I'm I missing something? I'm new to this flashing stuff so any help would be appreciated. Great work by the way. Thanks

Follow the link in my signature line (two posts above) for the link to the cabs and fixes. Sprint nav and nfl are there.

UNDO STARTMENU REPLACEMENT (15+ MB more RAM)
Restore Start menu.cab in "HOW TO" link bottom of signature line
Well, looks like you guys started a ruckus with this whole Start Menu replacement talk! According to NRG's tweets, the next ROM is gonna have the option of a less memory-hogging Start Menu. I was thinking about dabbling with it but guess I'll just sit tight for now

@TheMOster there will be a release today.. working on it as we speak.. I need to make it as user friendly as possible. Thats my style.. 1 minute ago via Digsby in reply to TheMOster

@nixel2007 the start menu will look like the start menu in 6.1

Well so far, the Leo saved a whopping 60 megs by taking out the Start Menu. That's crazy... Testing on the Rhodium now. 24 minutes ago via Digsby

EDIT: Wow, my 100th post! Kinda surprised, I didn't think I've made that many postings. OK, guess it's time to slow down!
