3. you cant use your own ringtones. i like my chirping birds in the morning, then my coffee commercial jingle 15 minutes later, and my Turtles cartoon song waking me on the weekend.
The first point can be solved by setting an appointment or task with a reminder set to go off when you want to wake up and you can modify the reminder tone accordingly.

The second point and a host of others can be addressed in two ways. One, CHTScheduler which is what I use. My phone mutes itself at 9:40 and doesn't make a peep until it automatically turns its volume up at 6:30 in time for my alarm at 6:40. Additionally, and I used this method previous to CHTScheduler, you can set an appointment for when you're in bed and then set your ringtone to automatic which silences it during appointments. When your "sleepytime" appointment is going on, it will automatically be silent.

The third point is also solvable as I wake up to the theme from Final Fantasy IV every morning. Very relaxing. Just copy the file into the windows directory and you're done. If you don't want to manually do it, then implement it as a part of XDA_UC or the other scripting tools available.

Hope it helps you or anyone else reading ... and sleep well.

I sync my calendar with my work computer, which other people use. So putting a "wake up" appointment in there probably wouldn't be too welcome.
I could do all those things...or just accept that something isn't quite perfect in the system and use the system alarm the best I can. But no one else said they had a problem, so We'll just make do.

In point of fact, doing all those things is inherently accepting that the system isn't perfect. If by "accepting" you mean "resigning to lesser functionality" then I suppose you could do that too. Others may have similar issues or needs while not opting to post and be willing to invest the 5 minutes for greater functionality. You choose to accept less than your desires, there is no value implied or judgement made in my suggestions.

Re: |RHODIUM CDMA|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- Energy -.¸¸.·´¯ * |Dec 5| 21916|23150 * Sense 20

Please pardon my ignorance and help me! (Yes I have read the steps over and over again.. but I have hit the wall).

I have Sprint TP2.
I 1st upgraded from 6.1 to 65.
The I downloaded the latest HSPL and applied it. Yes.. I saw 1.00.1.iNex!

Now in order to get the energy ROM (Dinik) that I like, instructions say to upgrade my ROM to atleast 2.07.50... so I downloaded 2.08.50.. but whenever I try to upgrade, it errors out saying "Error 244 - Invalid ID". I just can't get past that.

Again, I really appreciate all u gurus' advice and help..
Thanks alot

that sounds about right

try using one of the startmenu replacements (found in settings)

that should give you an extra 25mb or so.

here is the link <from the thread paperclip from MWALT> that increases the system volume quiet a bit, it's a cab so install it and try it out, if you don't like it just simply uninstall it, if you like it make sure to find a post by MWALT and thank him.

Re: |RHODIUM CDMA|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- Energy -.¸¸.·´¯ * |Dec 5| 21916|23150 * Sense 20

Update:
the reg entree posted a few pages back does not work,
to bring up the adavnce tab in phone settings menu.
The 21916 CHT2.o Christmas rom is a mouth dropping visual work of art,
simply beautiful in every way from the folders to the taskbars to the sense tabs.

That being said, the rom behaves mysteriously...
I have not added any tweaks yet except nuebattery
for ability to run at low power levels without going into airplane mode.
acb Power meter reads that the battery drain is all over the place up and down when not even touchn it.

At one point wen I turned off on battery it read almost 10ma! Great!

But overall this rom was still a battery killer.
I couldnt make it till lunch without dying
85% in mourning 9 am to less than 12percent battery 12:30pm,
having done nothing but hav phone in pocket OC at 748Mhz.

Rom actually ran fast at normal speed
and ran better at lower overclock at 730Mhz..

four second delay on Homescreen rotation with CHT 2.0
Pretty good compared to a 8sec rotation delay on other roms with CHTcab install.
Still tho, my best was 2-3 sec delay on CHT on other roms.

Opera running better than before..
Private message popups to open on new tab actually worked.
I always like these roms but cant stay because of battery.
Still I'm going to try changing my Sprint 1.96.00WF radio to the newer version,
and adding some tweaks should help.

Anyone been able to get the CHT RSS cab to work?

Also, the Christmas Countdown on XDA I load it on the TP2 and it comes out very tiny and all squished.

Wondering if others have seen that.

Thanks.
