thanks so much amikam your rom is great, you should be really proud of yourself you have gotten yourself a pretty decent size following. You definetly have a very nice looking rom and ever since you put up 6.5.x i havent tried anybody elses. Yours is great. I even stopped using my hero so i can go back to your rom. I gave hero to the wife.

likeing it better than the hero.... nice... thanks.
well... i dont like android, i think its much more fun to slide the finger on the menus rather than swipe it.
i just wish sprint would come up with a 4g non android phone... but i think when the evo comes out ill have to get it.

Yeah, Sprint's upcoming Evo looks nice.

Have you noticed any significant changes with sys 21901 or 23563?

like i said before.... 21901 seems faster than 21899, but as far as 23563... i dont use it personally so i can't really say how it compares to 23559.
i do know that if there were any sod issues they should be gone now.

Upgrading to 21901 now.

Quick question, how come when I remove the stylus the screen doesn't turn on automatically? Is it because of the lock screen? I've noticed it with the past couple of builds...

For some reason, roms built with the real WM 6.5 AKU, do not trip the stylus/screen on when removed.

yes... its because the nk.exe came from a touchpro that doesnt have the magnetic thing for the stylus(which im not sure about, but even if it does than it is setup different).
i did what i could do to the nk.exe since im not an expert in decompiling a file and reediting it using assembly coding language.
i did change it to recognize the phone as diamond though... but couldn't get the stylus to work.

Re: [4/20/2010] MikROM [Sense 2.5 | 21901 / 23563 | Light / Standard | BuiltIn Co0kie

Quick feedback for 235xx vs. 219xx

Prior to 23563 (23551 and earlier), that's what I had been running on. Today, I decided to switch to 21901 and my first impression is I like it half/half. Few things I missed from 235xx but no big deal.

- 21901 seems to be faster than 235xx base and way more stable.
- Internet Sharing on 21901 is very stable and hasn't dropped since I tried it as compared to 235xx where I continued to get dropped connections all the time.
- WiFi router works on 235xx but not on 21901
- internet sharing and Wifi-router run very hot on 235xx. 21901 has been running cooler in these modes.
- battery life is ok on both
- there's a bug in 21xxx where the phone "keypad" and "end call" buttons are too low on the screen and you can't get to them during a call.
- there's a bug in 235xx where the phone key pad disappears while in the middle of a call especially when you really needed it so you can go thru voice message operation for example. I can over come this by hitting show/hide keypad button in the middle.

I love the customizable UI in normal and in lock screen modes.
Thanks Amikam for the ROM!

u mentioned once that wifi router works and once that it doesn't... dont know why...
for me it works on 21901.
the bug that u mentioned is probably due to u stopping pchanvga from running using clrearram or some other software.
pchanvga must run on startup and all the time to fix the position for the dialer.
and the other bug u mention might be due to incallscreen tweak or a dialer setting... it usually does turn off using light sensor by defult or there is a timer... so its not really a bug... more like a setting. but im not sure which version u using cuz std has the tweak and light don't.
on another note, thanks for the comments.
