After my two week ordeal and Sprint replacing my third TP with a new in-box TP2 (out of the blue), I made sure to ask them about a dozen times if this meant that my plan would be extended or if I had to change from SERO, I was told repeatedly no on both counts.
I receieved an email from them last Monday: Dear SANJAY, You recently made some changes to your account, so we're sending you an updated overview of your services. It is our way of ensuring that we understand your selections accurately, that your account is in perfect order and to make sure we have a record of everything included in our current service agreement. Please keep a copy of this for your records. Now it's easy to check out your updated account information at sprint.com/mysprint. If your needs change, the Right Plan Promise allows you to adjust your plan anytime without renewing your contract. Also, talk to an eChat representative about any questions you may have with your account. Im gonna go visit the sprint stores today. My 3rd Touch Pros' touch screen no longer works. Everything looks fine, but nothing happens when tapping on the screen. Also, at least a 1/4 of the keys on the keyboard dont work. Been with Sprint for 10 years and my 2 year contract is over. Not that im gonna leave Sprint, i just hope they try to keep a long time loyal customer, happy

i do hope you get it flat out without having to pay because i know that sprint is swapping them out. it's just a matter of finding the right store or rep.

There was no hesitation in replacing my TP with a TP2 at my local repair store. The tech said he would not be able to fix it and ordered me a TP2 without even offering me anything else. When I picked it up the guy at the counter said I was the first person he knew of to make the trade. He was going to try and trade his TP in. Definitely a your mileage may vary situation. When I talked to the folks in advance replacement on the phone they said they were not authorized to replace a TP with a TP2, so I would head into the repair center and not even try to get it done over the phone.

if they tell you that the TP2 does not work on the sero they are lying to you ..it sure does ...they are trying to get rid of the SERO plans and will tell you that it wont work ...
of the lsit they gave me only 2 worked with the sero .. the tp and the snap...like i said TP2 was not even on the list .... my guess is they have diffrent list for diffrent plans??
