So now with screen grab... What's the globe icon next to EV, why does it pop up so much, and does it have anything to do with me missing calls, or is that just Sprint sucking more than usual? Thanks!

... the floating widget in CHT ... I got that when I tried to import CHT settings to my new flash. Floating black square widget that wouldn't be edited, couldn't make go away...Fortunately, I had just flashed, so I just hard reset my phone and started CHT and just reassigned links, widgets, etc - all CHT bits.

ahhhh yes, another happy 29xxx customer! Less issues with all the 29xxx series combined than the one or two 28xxx ROMs imho

Also, with the floating black square... prob put that in wiki, any thoughts? Others?

Ahhhh yes, a man of his word.... and an honest solution... I'd expect try & return customers from high-schoolers... it costs money, lots of it, a solid majority of these products will never be sold at full price... costs.. which they then pass on... to the customer... and round & round it goes...(wifey in retail mgmt/buying/sales for many years)

How is it unstable? I routinely leave out CHome and bronze and I haven't noticed anything (not that you really gain anything by leaving them out...just a mb of space or so ).

Ok, you convinced me! I tried, and it's working pretty well. Took a while to D/L all 4800 headers, even over Wi-Fi, but once I cut it over to 3 days and did a clear on the inbox, it appears to have stopped acting up. I still have it set for just headers now in case it wants to go bonkers again.

It started back at Teras first post. If memory serves me, he has dumped Co0kie and Sense for SPB and Android. My thought was he was joking about getting rid of Titanium as well, to have the ultimate stripped down ROM.

btw stats :
107 mb ram free on first boot
after loading SPb shell and all my other cabs
am getting 90-100mb free depending on usage
so far no SOD's or any issues with the dialer.

In the middle of the night, can't sleep, grab bedside TP2, go & ck to see if Titanium is up... it is, shut down Opera & restart on TP2, goto hotfile again to make sure I'm not dreaming... come here to post & let others know the great news... mwalt2: Agreed... I'd like to think there's a way to at least dump another 5-10 MB of files associated with Titanium... wonder what others? Wasn't too long ago we were all on simple "Today" screens REMEMBER??! Uncheck titanium (sense,etc.) & quite sure that's still what you end up with...
No titanium, sense, or any of that other bulk... seems to me people were doing some of that before nand droid came out, to get tiny fast winboot prior for SD XDroid...
But, if NRG says it.. there's gotta be something to it... would like more detail...

By the way, I've dumped SPB as well :>)), saved another 10-15megs. Found some new settings (never really looked before) in IPT & can make it look exactly like my old Cookie setup! With another 50 MB of RAM that is.... start out around 123MB after all loads, settles to a few less over time (teens).
My current IPT setup, (Cookie & Sense replacement):

• Too look like my old Cookie 2 hiding slider: Simply reduced the icon size by 1/2 (bottom bar settings), have 5 icons across the bottom similar to cookie 2 when you hide the slider (also reduce on mainscreen, but force to 5 icons across). I now use 82 size for main & bottom (smaller)
• Use the same backgrounds as cookie (used "Wallpaper" in IPT & uncheck all else in that tab), which also unchecks "static"
• "static" unchecked.. unreal, you can flick up all your icons off the screen kinda like cookie, but it'll clean your screen to see the awesome background, flick back down & left/right for different screens, push all around.. down as well,
• skin the top & bottom bar either with cabs or go into CHTE & skin, then uncheck sense (not with titanium obviously). the settings stay.
• use special icons when adding & config them with tab (12 hr clock)

Also, uncheck all in transparency tab, set icon selection sound to golf swing I stole from game, and lastly Animation tab zero Delay 2nd part of ..& ck Launch app @ the beginning.

Been using sencity ROM & unchecking Sense, which works great.. especially when I needed a Cookie fix, or wanted to help answer questions.., could just recheck it. But now am dumping it. Been wanting to try the hd2 dialer monfro post the 1st time, but out of storage space.. yes I use SD for tons of programs (30 or so, most of the games I don't even have to reinstall from ROM to ROM)... but some require dll's. BUT, even when monfro post the striped down version, I still didn't have enough free main storage... in fact, constantly had to keep deleting Opera cookies & cache & set DL parameters to SD... still running low. Titanium ROMs look about 25MB smaller, which should help tons & now that I'm dumping SPB, should have plenty!!

Use xhook/xtask (xda) instead of arkswitch, (roughly 2 MB more RAM), do similar functions, personal pref. again.. but I like better.

Overclocking: using the newest WiMoSpeed, 3 levels under max (many posts tell you to do this... I just didn't listen!) @ 748 for me now, VERY stable... (not as fast as msm&setcpuspeed 01d, but easy & now stable) MAJOR diff from 1.03 to 6 for me... even if he said it was just adding more processors.. night & day!

Not for everyone, I just like to mess around trying different stuff, no right or wrong... NRG makes ROMs with cookie, maxsense, Sense, no sense, loaded, like stock, etc... all personal preference. (which may change from month to month :>)) TWEAKERS HEAVEN

Why else use Energy ROMs? I also like the built in apps. Also uses compression which makes a much smaller footprint than I can do by loading up cabs on a stock ROM. I have to load voice command cab (from my voice link below in sig). Use built in Google Maps voice command by hitting the off hook (send) hard key on tp2 to find businesses in map area by name (McD's) or type (restaurant), etc.. Directions/phone numbers, etc.. That's how I find ALL my phone numbers if calling businesses, you can even dial from GMaps by hitting number! BING use it exclusively for voice internet searches (a voice google lol). Have found great translation in both above, voice to text.

So, use voice command to start google maps or bing, voice command what you're looking for in GMaps, voice command all internet searches in Bing (why type? Especially if driving when you can't/shouldn't)...

In my humble opinion...
Think we've hit another milestone with the 29017 ROM's, new dialers, etc.. I believe this will be the ROM to beat, better than 005... over the next couple weeks will tell.. could be the platform to beat.

Now if the king can get the BT hangup issue solved... which may not have anything todo with his ROMs (multi point, while data on, conflicting reports a majority say stock it works, but thought powinmo said not for him.. etc..)
Then... perfection... (sorry for long post..)
