It must be some REG settings that NRG is cooking in since Sharkie reports no problems on his 29007 builds.
Someone know what REGs to be looking at. I'm going to start poking around in there.
KDFont wont change Windows fonts, or changes them to a italic font rather than the one chosen. Seems to change manila fine though. Any ideas?
+1000! i have the same issue! kdfont works fine on nov 28244 builds but not the jan 26th build. another issue is that it doesnt change fonts from regular to bold like it should. like for instance, when reading the forum read threads should be regular text and unread should be bold right? well thats not how it is... everything is bold. so what do you pros suggest we try? ive saw several people having the same issues, any suggestions for a solution?

So....everybody must be having such a wonderful experience with their new 2/1 ROMS that they don't have time to post all the positive things about it.

is there any improvement i the new version of sense? Even while overclocked CHT2.0 still lags when swiping from page to page. so much so that I've actually gone back to MaxSense (which is much much smoother in my experience).

side note: anyone know if 'CHT2.0 Final' is final as in to more development? last i heard more features were in the pipeline, but its been a while and i haven't heard anything

Re: |RHODIUM CDMA|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- Energy -.¸¸.·´¯ * |Feb 1| 21916|28244 * Sense 20

Well, I finally decided to flash my Touch Pro 2 for the first time after hearing good things about Energy Roms and had nothing but trouble.

First, I installed Energy.RHODCDMA.21916.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.DinikGla ss.Feb.01.7z and thought things were awesome. It looks amazing and I love that you can customize it so much. The first problem occurred when I connected my bluetooth headset. Every time I would press the answer/end key, the phone would freeze up. If I pressed the bluetooth button to end a call, the end key on the phone would gray out and I could not hang up the phone. Sometimes it would eventually hang up after 45 seconds to a minute. Other times, I would just have to yank the battery out of the phone and reboot.

I decided maybe it was the rom version, so I switched to Energy.RHODCDMA.28244.Sense2.5.Feb.01.7z. I even used a different bluetooth headset. The exact same problems happened. I flashed back to the stock Sprint ROM and have had zero problems.

I would love to switch back to Energy as the interface is cooler and there are so many fun apps, but I cannot use it if I can't end phone calls while on bluetooth.

Finally bought an EVO

Longtime TP2 holdout here. NRG's rom's allowed me to squeeze every last drop of performance and customization out of my TP2. I finally bit the bullet and got a white EVO.

I must admit, Android OS has come a long way and its an even better transition than I expected. If anyone is on the fence like I was, I highly recommend it. I wont argue about it being worth the price to go from SERO to SERO Premium, etc. etc. But all I can say is Android has really surpassed my expectations (and I already knew what it could do).

Here is to hoping NRG eventually starts making EVO roms. Keep up the good work NRG. Your work breathes new life into an aging phone/OS and made holding on to a TP2 longer much easier.

P.S. Anyone need a cheap TP2? It has some wear and tear but no major defects. Not looking to gouge anyone, particularly a PPC Geek.

Your new plan requires upgrade from SERO to SERO Premium which is + $10 and then +$10 for Premium data, so total is $50 + tax. For some people here, the $30 + tax still trumps that.

Re: |RHODIUM CDMA|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- Energy -.¸¸.·´¯ * |Feb 1| 21916|28244 * Sense 20

So, here we are again thanking Task29.

I just flashed Energy.RHODCDMA.28244.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Feb.01 this morning. From the settings tab, selecting "all settings", the phone would sorta lock up. It wouldn't lock hard. But I couldn't do anything until I selected the back button. Accessing all settings from the Start Menu worked just fine. I realized I hadn't run Task29 again.

So here I am running Energy.RHODCDMA.28244.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Feb.01 with a 24MB PagePool and it's running beautifully.

Thanks again. I'll report back with any praise/complaints as necessary.
