I just flashed today after having some issues with MR and locking up.

I am getting an Out of Memory error when I open Opera 9.7 and I have to close a tab to get it to work. I didn't think I would get this becasue I just flashed and cleared out all the memory and did Task29.

Also my Slingbox player is playing upside down in Landscape mode. It needs to flip 180 degrees.

Anyone know how to fix it?

Seeing as how your problem is with HardSPL and not Energy, you might want to ask in the HSPL thread or better yet, contact cmonex and see if she can help you

What is "MR", that is locking up ?
Opera will always be a mem hog,
especially after the tweaks done to make it run smoother.

You can try re-installing, to see if a fresh install will help,
as it will not have any reg mods or also grafic changes to it,
which can also affect memory.

I remember a bug last year that made or cured false "out of memory" problems in Opera,
just by changing a default skin.

Other choices is to free up more memory:
Use another "startmenu"
Use "cleanram" app
Use OperaMini.

more info in how link in my sig (step7 i think), also read about home/today/cookie replacements while u are there for another 25 MB! Also set page pool to 10 or below if heavy Opera user

As an FYI for any interested, the weather updates stopped working on my Verizon running 21916 cookie 2 as well. I believe the weather servers are HTC and not carrier.

A question I have is, has anyone else running the standard 21916 cookie 2 12/13 rom noticed a dramatic increase in battery drain upon flashing? I realize it's quite possible that my battery needs replaced, but it seemed a sudden change that corresponded to the flash. I didn't change pre-loaded apps or rom series, just moved to 12/13. I ask this not to declare an issue with the ROM but to simply ask to confirm it's just isolated to me. Thanks!

Agree - seems pretty good to me. I drive a truck and this helps as often I cannot hear people.
