Huh... I find this release to be the fastest of all of them! Did you task29 or flash stock before his release?

i never task 29.. i wipe the device, install the stock rom, wipe it again, install the new rom, wipe it again, then install my backup apps. baybe i had a bad download or something. Ill re-download it anr report back once im donw flashing.

LMAO ^^^^^^^^^^^ ill back it up and do the process over then report back.. so what u guys are telling me is that this is faster than the NOV rom? even installing files on the NOV 8th 6.5.3 rom seemed faster to me..

I'm running Titanium Nov 12 and I guess this rom is still plagued with the battery icon stuck at 100%, Opera 9.7 favorites not working, and trying to send picture mail from albums then pressing on the two arrows to bring up the pop up menu and selecting message will only bring up a new text message not the picture mail. I have to select mail then picture mail to be able to send it.

has there been any fixes that I missed on my searches??

Ok, I'm going to ask it. Before I did all this ROMing around, my phone was 3G. It had nice, fast data speeds and a little 3G icon where it now says EV. After I started getting these awesome ROMS, I noticed it was slightly slower internet and the 3G icon was gone. I can change my phone band settings all I want, but no increase in speed...and no 3G icon. I also got the Xerxes Enable 36 Icon reg fix, but still no 3G icon. Should I even be concerned? It's acceptable speed, but its not what it was, and it doesn't show that it's 3G.
I love this latest 28244 Build, but I have one more gripe. Everything looks bigger? Text is the same size, but icons and drop down menus, and for example, the Facebook tab is bigger. I have a picture attached to show what I'm talking about.
Speaking of Facebook tab, that reminds me of another question i have: I have 13 contacts linked to facebook people, but only 7 people only show up. Is there a reason for that?

Well flashing stock as actually better than task29. Flashing stock does a task28 which is one more step that 29 doesn't do. But if you are doing a full backup and full restore then you are putting old files/reg strings and what not back into the new rom which causes problems. Your best bet for backing up is to do just your contacts/email/texts and use XDA_UC or Sashimi to restore installed programs!
