NRG/Everone,
Here's something I haven't seen addressed: Opera 10 over 9.7 as a stock option The original reason it was pulled by NRG was for the reason given that it wasnt stable enough. It's 100% stable..I fell in love with it since NRG used to include it. As soon as he pulled it, I switched to sashiming the cab. Additionally, since it was pulled as the preconfigured option, Opera has developed a later version of 10 which also runs 100% stable Not only for not having stability issues do I like it; I like 10 better for speed of rendering, ease of zooming (one click), and also the fact that u can accurately click on a link when your zoomed out on the first attempt. People can have the debate of skyfire/opera/Mini/whatever else.. but I feel if we're choosing Opera as a default, we should go with the better of the two....the newer version.. hands down. IMHO. So for all of those reasons, plus the fact that 10 has Opera link (which can save all your bookmarks/settings via creating a username/password account), I have to challenge the question.. Why the older 9.7? In my mind it's not even close. Is there something Im missing? Is there a flash add-on for 9.7 that I dont know about? Thanks Last edited by pdappcgeek; 11-06-2010 at 04:43 AM. |

also-
D3D Drivers..? For anyone who will debate that Opera 10 is slower than 9.7, are you aware that the D3D drivers are a huge improvment and give noticably faster speed to the rendering of Opera 10?..very very fast. Maybe this is people's missing piece of the puzzle? Last edited by pdappcgeek; 11-06-2010 at 04:45 AM. |

One more thing I can think of right now...
NRG, you're probably already 10 (or more) steps ahead of me, but: Are the temporary cht 2.0 beta stability fixes (published by cht dev over on the xda thread) already being cooked in? If not can include them in the next rom? The fixes consist of manilla files to overwrite into the windows directory. Thanks |

I would like to start out with saying that I am a big Fan of the energy titanium series it has been a blast a speedy joy ride.
I would like to voice my concern regarding the speed on the new Sense 2.5 it takes almost 3 sec. to respond when switching from home to messages or anywhere.. => I am not sure if it is a good move to “upgrade to “ sense 2.5 and loose the speed that I so loved about the titanium ROM What are other people thoughts on this? |
