So, I really like quickmenu, frees up a lot of ram and is more functional than the original start menu, however the sometimes 30 second lag times to bring the menu up kind of suck. Is there any way I can fix this?

How is CHT 2.0 Beta running? I may wait and let the bugs shake up before getting an NRG rom with CHT 2.0. The Beta thread at XDA seem to show a lot of minor bug reports associated with the new softkey/slider design.

Only bug I can can speak of is all these new settings its freaking awsome!!!! But really, nothing bug related here working things should!!!!

I've only found a couple oddities that are related to CHT 2.0, not sure they are "bugs", but different. Other than that it runs fine.

Most of the minor issues I've either read about or experienced have been ironed out with the exception of two.

1) for some reason my text indicator (the number in the blue circle on the text icon on the slider) does not show up.

2) Some graphic glitches like a intermittent flashing screen when I wake from standby and switch from portrait to lanscape.

Other than that, things are going nicely.

There is no delay in Quikmenu,
What you are experiencing is you finger touching past the corner area allotted to Quikmenu ,
and thus initiating th regular startmenu...Which no longer exists!.. so there is a delay while the device is looking.
I was thinking to see if that can be re-assigned in the registry to point to the Quikmenu shortcut instead or looking at a dummy file that has "0" bytes...
