This seems to be asked every three pages so I figured if someone at least scans through the threads they may see it. If you are having problems, please read a little before asking the same question over and over.

look for the "keyboard fix cab" for your carrier, download it, put it on your phone and run the cab and your keyboard will be fixed.

I loaded the Jul 10 21908 Cookie ROM a while back and I only have two issues. USB internet sharing does not work (been using Wifi router for now), and memory leaks. It seems this build just runs out of memory all the time. I've tried cleanram apps, but the only real thing that fixes it is a reset. It seems I do this several times a day. Only using like the facebook app, opera, email mainly during the day. Nothing else crazy loaded.

JUly 10 was one of the best cookies for me. I've found that deleting as many un-needed texts as I can seems the help most memory and speed issues.
IMHO, opera and the facebook app seem to be a bit of a memory hog so I tend to close them out completely if I am not using them and fianlly, I deselect any tabs in Sense that I am not using.

EDIT: I just checked my memory after a day of use and I'm a bit tight at 27mb free. yuck

To answer your question, task 29 is not part of the ROM it's a separate process that you do before you flash a ROM, the file to task 29 is in this thread multiple times. go out to where you entered this thread and to the right of it you will see a paperclip, click that and you will see everything that's been uploaded to this thread and look for the file that you want.

not being sim unlocked has nothing to do with task 29. now if an updated stock ROM comes out and it has an updated radio or roaming list, you can flash to the stock ROM and then to a custom ROM and then the radio and roaming list will stay in the phone.

Bro I had typed up a long post about this exact same thing, no one knows how to read about the software they are trying to use, I have posted I don't know how many times that if anything you do you read the OPs post in the first page and the last few pages of a thread to see how the newest ROM is running, what issues others are having and what the fixes are, but I figured that it was just going to fall on deaf ears and no one pays attention and they are going to ask the same damn questions over and over.
