Is there a new update in the works? Last one I see is from July 8th. FYI, since this update was installed, my camera has behaved strangely and has often locked up the phone.

Yeah unfortunately, but have to move where the money is. Thanks for the best wishes I sure can use it, pretty stressful with retiring from the Army after 20 years and having to find another job and then having to sell my current house and move to another state.

Yeah actually I started my separation leave like 10 July and took about 30 days to work around the house and relax a little and then started a little job until I could find something better.

I was unfaithful. I tried Sharkie ROM. I love the format of the phone and some of the details. But it's kinda unstable for me. Lot's of problems. I will be coming back....

Hey bro, yeah I still monitor this thread to see how things are going and if anything new comes out. Yeah I have moved quiet a few times in the past but have been stationed here at Ft. Campbell for the last 8 years so it's been a while, it will be stressful but I know it will work out in the end. Thanks for the best wishes, hope things are well with you and the family, how's school going? You're in clinicals now right?

Thanks bro, and it was a pleasure serving, had lots of good times and seen lots of great places and got a decent pay for it. It's definitely a different world on the outside and that will take getting used to, but I'll adapt.

Maybe you can give me some more guidance - I've created a boot animation (gif - using fireworks) problem is I notice the animation NRGZ has loaded in the latest ROM is only 86kb, my animation in around 700kb and no matter how much I compress it in fireworks in never gets below 350kb - also when I open NRGZ original animation in fireworks then save it as a gif animation making no changes to it, it ballons in size to 450kb.

I'm surprised there are still references to t*** junk that have not been clarified. Though I guess without doing sufficient due diligence it was not obvious why all the hoopla happened.

Anyone looking to use Android on their TP2 should follow teradog's links. As a bonus, his tutorial is very nice for those new to project. The Froyo 7.1 AOSP stuff is going well and I use it as a daily driver on a test unit.
