Just a heads up that I didnt see mentioned.

Santod posted 2 files to help fix some stability issues and hopefully extend batter life with CHT 2.0B.

Thanks for sending me back to that thread cashmoney, got lucky scanning pages and read how to go to options, special icon tab, where you can set clock to 12 hour format and adjust size and color. Still only one icon size but much better now. Also found good weather program for IphoneToday to check out here. Read the STICKY on the main Touch Pro 2 Forum:

Learn UC / XDA_UC / Registry / XML Provisioning / CAB Editing {2010-08-12}

This program will allow you to silently install cabs/mort scripts/registry edits during the flashing of a new/old rom. Many chefs are now using XDA_UC in thier roms.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-...0-08-12-a.html

This thread will explain to you what XDA_UC is. Hope this helps.

The only clock sync I could find was already unchecked. Which one do you mean? Activesync still starts.

I made the activesync icon smaller and placed it onto the upper left where it doesn't overlap the signal bars. If you are using the Energy.RHODCDMA.21916.Sense2.5.Cookie.Oct.20.7z then you can just put the file I have into your /windows folder and then it should fix it for now. Somehow whenever you are using data the activesync icon shows up. You can kill the activesync process and it will still be there so I think ENEGRY programmed the wrong icon for data. Unless it's related to the clock sync. If you kill your internet/data process then the activesync icon goes away.

The file is zip so you will have to unzip it and put it somewhere on your phone then use Total Commander to move shellres.192.dll into the /Windows directory and overwrite the old one. If you are using a different Energy rom then you can copy that shellres.192.dll file from your /windows directory and send it to me and I can send the file back with a different icon of your choice.
that worked well, now I can see everything, and its not such a glaring green dot on my screen.

.....

I'm not so concerned about the signal being blocked, just dont need activesync running, as far as I know.

I don't think it's activesync that is running. It's data that is running but Energy put the wrong icon for data. If you check under task manager you will see that data is running. You might see activesyc running but if you kill the process the icon still remains on the taskbar but if you kill the data process then the activesync icon goes away. Energy has a T-Mobile HD so I don't know if he has to time to check everything that's going on with the Touch Pro 2. Or does he have all the devices(Dimond/Touch Pro/Touch Pro 2/etc) that he makes his Energy roms for?

Yes, you are lucky, this phone has both, the 850 (used in USA, Canada and Argentina) and the 900mhz band used in europe.

Re: |RHODCMDA|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- Energy -.¸¸.·´¯ * |Oct 20| 21916|21682 * Sense 2018

I have done several searches for a fix to the internet sharing problem and all I am finding is a bunch of posts with people saying they are having the problem...not any fixes. My internet sharing works fine when using the Wi/Fi sharing...but not when I tether to my computer, which is better because it is a faster connection (when it works).

It just sits at "waiting for network" and never connects.

Anyone know how to fix this???

P.S. yes I have done the carrier provisioning which is sprint.
