I am also having the ringtone issue but the 4.8 version is the best of Mike Rom's I have use so far..

is there a fix for the ringer issue yet?
i tried a couple cabs but they didn't fix the problem..

Convert them to WAVs. That fixes the problem.

Stupid Question: I've tried going back a couple few pages but I'm not exactly clear what this "ringer" issue is? I'm on Mighty 4.8 and have the latest Sprint Radio..and haven't had issues with my ringer(well sometimes but that's only because I keep forgetting there's a separate volume area for the ringer/system) Does it not take mp3s or something?

Many folks who have custom ringtones in their ring folders that are MP3s or WMAs are missing calls, because they don't work. They need to be converted to WAV files to work. Not everyone is having the problem and other ROMS are affected too. (I first read about it in the Juicy ROM thread. There are conversion programs around the threads somewhere. I myself d/l'd a free conversion / ripper program from downloads.com.

thats right, there seems to be an issue with custom ringtones. Once i removed them, everything worked out perfectly. The other fix i used was to convert my custom ringtones to wav files.... i used WavePad(its free and easy to use).

No I haven't. I have my finals coming up so it has been pretty much eat, sleep, poop, school. Sometimes not even eatin, or sleepin. I will take a look at it for you when I get home today. See if I can't figure it out and help you out a bit. Sounds like something I will want too. Be about 4hrs.
