Re: Telecom NZ - Upgrade Issues (and fixs)

when you upgrade your radio version sometimes you can fall of the network , so {a} it doesnt matter if you let the customizations run or didnt let them run you will still not get a usuable phone and {b} no standalone carrier cab is gonna fix this issue for you. you are wondering how i know this? because the exact same thing happen to me actually 2 times on 2 different phone, i let the sprint customization packs run and got standalone carrier cabs (telecom of course) and nothing worked until i did a esn swap! funny enough the same things happens when you go back to radio version 1.59 you have do a esn swap to get back a usuable phone

Re: Telecom NZ - Upgrade Issues (and fixs)

Right, i just flashed my Okta touch, everything was mint, except the EVDO no going. Then i discovered how to fix it. Id programed in all my hdr passwords and whatnot, and i found by simply renaming the connection from "Data Network" or whatever it defaults to, to "Telecom" it all of a sudden worked! no idea why or how or any other such questions. Phone now works absolutley fine in hybrid mode.

Re: Telecom NZ - Upgrade Issues (and fixs)

not in all cases, ive fome roms change some EPST settings even if you dont let the customization run. however i have now found a .cab that will reapply all telecom settingand just require you to change your HDR user and PW
