The other option is to update your zImage/modules & rootfs. I think there's a new initrd.gz, but I also heard there's "nothing actually new" in it. So I'm not sure about that. That would be the easy way - I assume this fix made it into upstream since it was fairly simple. |

@makkonen - Wouldn't happen to have a second link the memory map would you? The Wiki is offline.
Edit: nevermind the wiki is back online.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
I've formatted my card with hp utility, yet I still get the error "waiting for SD card".
Any help? Thank you all for the great work that's been put into this project. |

You can also try a different card, just to rule out that card. Are you just extracting the bundle in the first post to the root of your SD card? I guess I'd really need to know what device you have - pull the battery and look for RAPH800 or something like that. The 6800 is the Mogul tho. This particular setup won't work for that device. I think there was an Android project for that device, not sure how far it got tho. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
Just did a quick search of the thread and didn't see anything so here is my question. I have a Sprint Touch Pro running one of NRGZ28's ROMS, WM is nice and stable. I boot Android 2.2 no problem and overall it works very well running off my SD card but every once in a while I just cannot turn the phone back on. Screen goes off like it normally does for sleep mode and no matter what button I push it will never come back to life into Froyo. I do not remember having this issue with 2.1 but I did not use it long before upgrading using fresh andboot dir off the XDA thread. Only way to get the phone usable again is to hit reset button and boot back into Windows Mobile and then relauch Froyo if I want to use Android.
Any ideas anyone?

Haha thanks, I just decided to do things "The hard way" according to the first post in the thread. I noticed it is updated a lot more frequently. |

Pretty much sums it up. The project is still in testing, I have intermittently had this issue. Seemingly the deeper it sleeps the harder it is to wake up... Literally. |
