Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

they're stored in the /data/app directory. They're sort of a hassle to access from there, though. I'd suggest grabbing Titanium Backup from the market. I've been using it quite a bit lately. It does rooted-device-specific backups, and it does them very well.

Did you try his suggestion for that app Titanium Backup? I would do that method, as makk even stated accessing the files is a PITA.

If you use astro or OI file explorer, you won't see them. You need root explorer or to use the terminal and su to root.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

So I installed the latest all-in-one froyo 2.2 pack today. I decided to download world war from storm8 and give it wurl.... The weirdest thing happened. I booted up some sergeant dung profile ( I didnt creat that profile.) Anyone else have this happen?

Edit: I have no complaints, this profile has had some hours stuck into it! 15 mil every hour and so on

Sounds like your SD card is not formatted properly. People on XDA found if they formatted the cards with gparted they started working... Can you access the gallery, or does it say there's no SD card present?

Yea, I also read on XDA that the GUID that is tied to each and every Android device isn't being pulled properly... so any app that uses the GUID to identify the device won't work properly. Basically we're all running the exact same 'unique' identifier as everyone else using the newest XDA builds. Something within the older builds actually created unique identifiers... I'm sure it's being worked on.

Huh, that's a new one. Usually the SD card issue & the ringtone issue goes hand-in-hand...

Assuming you are using a RAPH800, unfortunately I can only recommend the typical 'fixes' - delete your data.img, try to boot again. If that doesn't fix it, format the SD card with the HP tool and start with a clean build of Android.

Do you have the newest from the autobuilds or are you using the 2.2 AIO from the first post?

Yep, Im using a RAPH800. I have tried deleting my data.img, and the whole andboot folder many times. Formatted my SD card once with Windows. Tried the RC1 and newest autobuilds over at XDA and the AIO here.

I'm also experience haret.exe freezing almost every time I execute it, unless it is immediately after a soft-reset. Even then, it still freezes 50% of the time before the double vibration.

Tried a different ROM today, and the same issues with haret exist.
