They keep giving me the runaround since I paid full price. Account Services acknowlegded they are matching for new customers...I am eligible today, but the f'ed up and somehow, my 3rd line is listed as primary, so my Premier upgrade is on the wrong line....such BS...oh, and when I brought up the price discrepancy, their new excuse is "ours is a world phone, theirs is not" WHATEVER...

EDIT: That's BULL**** BTW, checked Verizon's IS world capable....just outright lies...

EDIT 2: Became eligible today, returning phone (UGH), and reordering if I can get $199.

EDIT 3: Update - Premier Care refused to make my line "primary" so I could use the upgrade, says the last line to get activated is automatically primary. This makes no sense, so I am using that line's upgrade, will forego the MIR and get it that way.

Hey All... read through the posts here and thought I would give calling customer service a shot since I just recently paid $449 last week for this phone. I told the rep that my friend just got their HTC Touch Pro2 today and received it for $199. She told me she was not aware of that offer and shows it listed for $349 after the $100 rebate.

I asked her to check on this since this was an offer that started today. She put me on hold and came back after speaking to her manager. The manager validated the $199 offer and the rep quickly credited my account the difference! Woo hoo... thanks to all my peeps at PPCGeeks for even bringing this to my attention!

hey guys, I just called sprint retentions to get the price match. They denied me because I am on a Grandfathered SERO 1250 - 49.95 Plan....Any body else here have a grandfathered SERO plan who has recieved the discount?????? I've been a sprint customer for like 6 years now, and this darn SERO is keeping me away from all the goodies, but for what I pay, I can't be too upset.....

Yes, Thank You Sprint.

Evidently, there is no official price change, but after politely being persistent, I received a one time courtesy adjustment of $150.

Honestly, I would have been OK with the initial $349, but this just makes me a more satisfied customer.

I've got 4 lines on Sprint, and I can't see changing to another carrier, so, for a mere $150 Sprint has bought good will and loyalty, and the best advertisement of all..................word of mouth (or type of fingers). Very smart move on their part.

Well this is the BS i got so... fare... I called C.care. The lady told me that I would have to go in to the store I got the phone. and see if they can credit my acct. So I when there and the guy(who was helpfull and IE knew about the price change) Told me that I could get the credit($150) after the 30 days of having the phone. So I left there and figure I would try calling again to get the credit right now. I ended up talking to another lady. Who said...." Sir I'm not seeing any price change in the system." as it looks until it's posted on the site or the hero comes out i maybe SOL

Been telling you that for days but the TROLLS keep posting fake e-mails from ecare that the price is being slashed and this that and the other.

We have 3 threads going about the same thing and it has been said even before these threads.Yo call and if no luck hang up and call again till you get lucky then move on but this does not move on LOL.
