Ummm i have posted what people need to do about 7 times rather then the ones who were/are waiting for the website to drop the price.At least it made a few web site look foolish that is about it.

About the only good of this thread is a couple of people who would have never called actually got a decent price on the phone.

And yea, bgr, engaget, etc. are stupid... but they are blogs. What do you expect? They take the same stuff we read and aggregate it... they are not true reporters or investigators.

You're wrong about the 100+ lines. I have a corporate account with 13 lines, 12 of which are off contract. I can order a Touch Pro2 for $199 online, no rebates, for any of those 12 lines. Last month I ordered a Touch Pro2 "for" one of my corporate lines for $320 with no rebates and promptly activated it on my personal SERO line. I wasn't sure if I was even allowed to do that, and couldn't activate the phone initially, because it was associated with the corporate account I ordered under. I called premier care and explained exactly what I was doing and they released the ESN to be activated on any account. I may see if I can get a refund for the difference.

WOW so after 12 calls to customer service, 5 emails to e-care, 4 online chat sessions with e-chat - I tried E-care again and was told the following

The #**** is eligible for $150.00 rebate so you can upgrade the handset

I proceed to call telesales and the lady says her system is displaying the online price of $349.99 I gave her my e-mail reference number and gave me someone's email address to speak to directly and reference my e-care confirmation...we will see how things go. If it works for me i would be glad to share the email because I know how tough it is to get this deal... I've been trying for 2weeks with nothing more than rejections. at least I now have an email from ecare quoting me that price !!!

So after calling 4 times in 2 days and a online chat I was shot down with them all.....Sent an e-mail after the online chat around 8pm CST. I have not gotten a reply from the e-mail yet but I am up late not feeling the best and decided to check my account online and WOW I have a $160 credit

Way to go sprint.

It would not have mattered what I payed for this phone because it is just amazing! But wanted to try and got it!
