Update your kitchen to the one posted last night, or download the PPCGeeks_OEM.rar (also available from the main kitchen post), or both. I recomend both.

What a total pole-smoker. If you don't like the product, STFU and get the f**K out of here. You obviously don't belong if you don't "get" the spirit of the heros of this site working their asses off on experimental software to make OUR phone experience better. Not to mention, I can't place any weight on the words of a "military PC technician". 1) Computer techs in the military tend to suck ass until they get selected to work on important systems, and not PC's. 2) You're title as PC technician means that you're A++ or Helpdesk rat. When you boost up to Network technician, or security engineer, let us know. 3) The fact that you're a PC tech of 25 years means you must really suck ass not to move on to bigger and better things in 25 freaking years 4) anyone who has to boast their title and experience in an email is a liar or has serious insecurity issues. BTW: I've been running 071105_2 for 2 days (won't upgrade until more significant improvements, as I'm content), and this Kitchen freaking ROCKS!!!!!! Fast, no crashes yet, and highly functional. You should be posting issues to the bug thread. It took a while to read through your rant to even tell there was an issue in there. Your symptoms are typical of flashing a slightly oversized or misconfigured ROM, and usually can be resolved by:

As Kolano pointed out, if your problem is that the PPC LCD display turns white at the end of flashing, that's a result of trying to put too much stuff in the ROM. P.S. - when you capitalize the first letter of every word, it makes your post very hard to read. Last edited by gguruusa; 11-07-2007 at 10:11 AM. |

When an updated kitchen is released do we need to download both the kitchen installer & OEM package or just the kitchen installer?
