If you didn't download load it, then do so. It should be left as a .rar file, and it should be put in your kitchen install directory...c:\buildos, if you didn't change it.

I had the origional wm6 release from helmi_c and it worked great. Then, i got adventurous and experimented this morning with some other apps, and ended up bricking the phone. So i downloaded the kitchen, cooked up a new rom, and flashed it. I thought it was going to be a lot harder than that, as it was my first time doing such a thing. Thanks guys for making it so easy.

Help!!! Anyone!!! I'm with alltel and I've had this kitchen on my phone for a few weeks now and it's great. I had arcsoft mms incorporated into the rom but when someone sent me a pic/video message last night nothing happened. I downloaded it and then I got an error message. Can someone please, please help me get mms to work on my alltel 6700!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I read the first 37 pages of this thread and thought I had enough information so I downloaded and attempted a build... looks like in the 2 or 3 weeks this kitchen has been out you've improved things even more; I didn't get asked half the questions earlier users mentioned. Good stuff. I only got caught out by not putting the phone into bootloader mode (early messages suggested that it would be automatic) but when I actually _read_ what was on the screen then it all worked just fine.

Not sure I _like_ WM6 much; has some oddities. I'll check through the bug thread before posting about them.

I do have one "request for enhancement"... all the optional packages you've provided... could there be a "freeware", "shareware" , "commercial/trial" type indicator? Some of the packages look really interesting but visiting the home page showed they were commercial products, possibly needing a key or time limitted trials. It's good to have them in the kitchen, but I don't want to clutter my ROM up with stuff I won't buy.

But this is excellent work, and very easy to use!

Since the search function is about as useful as a wet noodle when it comes to threads that are 72 pages long, i can't find the wireless sync after i cook up the new rom for my phone. Does anyone know anything about this? I also did not see it at all in the kitchen.

Just point your mobile browser to http://ota.wsync.com -find XV 6700 in the list, and download it from there.

got it, thanks. One other thing, and i had to do this when i first got wm6. When i click on the mail, it brings up txt/pix messages. How can i make it so the left button is email, middle one is text messages, and right one is call history/missed calls?
