How do you make the Homescreen to display the weather from another City, State. other then My Location? I can add the city, state in the Weather Tap and it shows there but NOT on homescreen. which is really sucks. Any one have an idea please share.

Click on the clock and select that location. Unfortunately, it will display the time from that location as well. Hopefully, that works for you.

i have no idea what wimospeed does with the radio but i know ifwratz had to add support for each radio just like he had to add support for each rom build . i just looked in the registry and there is an entry in the wimospeed key that says "radio_id" so it definitely does something with the radio. and now that i think about it, i didnt have a sod when i disabled wimospeed so that definitely seems to be the culprit.

since we are on the exact same rom with the same radio, use a registry editor and change the following values in hklm//software//wimospeed to:
oemxip_id = 27
radio_id = 28
then soft reset.

either do the above or uninstall wimospeed, soft reset, then reinstall.

i have definitely noticed a difference with the new radio, my battery lasts longer. i think this is the longest battery life ive ever experienced! my signal also hasnt dropped under 3 bars in areas where i usually have 1-2 bars.

let me know if that helps. also i have lots of other dinik mods i can give you since there are alot of things left unskinned in energyrom.

JinjaDuck, Thank you, its just that simple huh? I was struggling with it for hours with all kind of setting changes. I didn't think of clicking on the CLOCK will change the WEATHER geezzzz Its just like you go to the DMV and take the driven test then they give you the Pilot license .

Thank you very much for the quick response and fix. This took care of it perfectly. However, since yesterday I added some cabs that didn't work to well together and made the phone almost totally unusable. So, I flashed it again this morning and wanted to make sure to provision absolutely first thing. I noticed that the VZW provision doesn't change the keyboard as it should. So, it must be that the keyboard layout isn't correct in the VZW provision. Does anyone else notice this? I would say that it would be a great improvement to be made in the ROM itself? You have been thanked!

Has anyone had an issue where the sound would just not work? I mean when i try to call someone, it shows that I'm connected, but I hear nothing. no sounds at all key presses earpiece.. nothing, soft reset fixes it for a while.. Could it be something to do with MSVC?

Wow, 10 days without a new ROM! I guess NRG took a vacation (I hope he got to ski or snowboard in Tahoe since he lives in Las Vegas), is preparing something big, or, there is nothing to add to the current one.
I am having some problems, when I open the keyboard it sometimes doesn't seem to recognize it, sometimes it freezes, sometimes it acts crazy.
Also many times it freezes for up to 5 minutes! Since different people have different problems with the same ROM, I am pretty sure by now that it is the different programmes, settings, cabs, registry edits, etc that we add to the ROM, not the ROM itself. I wish I knew what are the ones that mess things up so I don't install them any more. Swype is one of my prime suspects!

The ROM is cooked with the sprint keyboard as the default. As far as I know, provisioning sets up te data but not the keyboard. So, you will still need to install the KB fix cab for verizon.

I am glad someone brought this up. MyPhone locator is great, it can find, lock, or in an emergency erase your phone!

When I fisrt got my TP2 and flashed NRGZ rom I tried it and it worked fine, then 3 or 4 months ago I left my phone at work so I desided to justs have MyPhone lock it and not worry about it. It failed, and like you I have not gotten it to work again.

THE POINT: Its one of those features you don't think about, but only need once to be a life saver ( with the location feature that could be literal).
The trail is free so maybe some others could make sure that its not just us and if it is broken, pass the word to the big guy. Also maybe Terra could add something about it to the wiki page in the mean time.
