That worked.
So in CHT i disabled lock screen (rebooted), then I went over to settings and enabled lock screen and we're back in business.

Thanks!

You're welcome! Mine was weird though, I didn't even have to enable lock screen from settings. I find that this lock screen is so much faster and doesn't take time to load.

yeah it seems faster to me as well. The hd mini looks nice, but is not as responsive. winmo needs to get android style unlocking with password (the patter lock).

But I am not happy with the lock screens. I am using the HD version and it cuts the top of the clock off. Anyway to fix this? and other 2 options aren't that great. Can you recommend an alternative to these 3?

thanks and good work!
Here is what I did for myself

Two WM Native Lockscreens {2010-12-23} - Compact version added

It will stay as is - at least for NRG. I think VIN includes a radio in his.

It is really a chef choice, but the prevailing wisdom is not to include it to allow for choice and prevent bricking of phones.

True, but remember that back in those days half the posts were "why can't I send MMS?" and "the / and : keys on my keyboard are switched, what can I do?" Getting those issues resolved has slowed the posting quite a bit!

Aye. Sometimes I avoid the forums for extended periods of time because of those constant posts about MMS, keyboard stuff, etc.

Looks like the FAQs and wiki that teradog, davetn, and company have been maintaining is paying off...

Now we just need to expanded those entries with the more recent posts about tethering and lockscreens

One thing I'd like to see is a possible consolidated listing in the wiki or something similar from the various project contributors... eg, puff with his volume stuff and ninjaduck with all his great mods, etc.

Thanks, very helpful. Will probably stay with the TP2 as I need the quad because of international travel and not yet ready for Android. I have been testing some music and other apps on the Android version of the Tp2 and somewhat disappointing.

Good luck!
