Okay I'm sure someone has asked this, but I'm running the October 14th, Energy Style Cookie 2.0 ROM and have noticed strange things on the People Tab, the pictures will remain the favorites I've selected however the contact names and numbers will change randomly especially when they are linked with Facebook contacts. Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone know of a solution? I've searched for an answer and haven't seen one.
Other than this the ROM is awesome!

And the clock - it's on the 24 hour setting. I go into the settings and it shows the correct 12 hour clock. But when I save and back out it shows the 24 hour clock.
See you're online... got any of this figured out? Just jumped back on since yesterday myself... will look into now as well. Let me know any successes.

I have my regular internet favorites saved, but I haven't figured out how to save the thumbnailed links.

I wrote a guide on how to do this a while back

Note: You don't necessarily NEED to use Sashimi as the guide suggests, but it's the easiest, most hands-free way

FYI... TP2's are amazing.. Have you watched the WinPhone7 vid? Windows Phone 7
well.... guess what? Most of the "new" phones are real similar to ours.. same screen size, etc.. They've got the 1Ghz Snap Dragon, but that is much slower than the Humming Bird (test results on just about every aspect, especially graphics..). Point being.. if they're running stock ROM's (typically not optimized) and especially not OC'd...

Then you take a TP2 with good mojo (silicone/chip) that can be OC'd to 800 mhz, there's not much difference between the 2 is there?!!

Having seen all this... I'm looking at a Win7 port for the TP2... geezzz, I was hoping/wishing/looking at getting into a 4.3 inch screen with the new 1.5 ghz dual core chip... but heck, if they're just going to put out a device just like mine that doesn't even have a SD card...!!??

Well then.... guess I'll just add WinPhone7 to the list of OS/software I've already been/had or one can get running on this amazing device.
Windows Mobile 5, 6, 6.1,
Windows Phone 6.5, 6.5.x
Andriod 2.0, 2.1, 2.2
Ubantu
Windows 95, 98 & XP
Windows Phone 7 ??!

*edit* oh yea, did I forget quad band CDMA AND GSM?!

Gotta LOVE THIS, choices, choices, choices... And now that the amazing NRG has incorporated so many other developers great software (quickmenu, various startmenu replacement (incl. the one from kenya dude), sencity, touch of glass, etc.. etc..) We can all pick what we choose & go with what we want/feel/like... and that may change tomorrow!!! No right or wrong way, just tons of options!!

THANKS NRGZ28 for all your great work helping to fully utilize the potentials of this device...

*edit* ha! Speaking of Win7, just saw this on NRG twitter:
@ChainfireXDA god I hope they don't make huge mistakes with wp7... they can't afford to...lol

Ditto on holding out... I have a TP2 on SERO ($30/month + $7 insurance with Sprint). I can get an android phone or a new WP7 phone when its out for an additional $10 a month. The 4G phones (EVO and Epic) are an additional $20 total. It just doesnt make a whole lot of sense when the NRG roms on the TP2 are so good. At the very least, I can hold out to see what early 2011 has to offer in terms of the TP7 (think TP2 w/ WP7) and other non 4G android based HTC devices. As you've pointed out, an OC'd TP2 is not all that much different than the 1ghz TP7 if you can get a WP7 rom running well on it. This could take a while tho, look how long its taken for the android rom for TP2 to stabilize. Is there any good way to see if you have a TP2 that will OC well (i.e. "good mojo")? NRG's roms have helped increase the usability and life of our TP2 (and other HTC devices) a great deal!

Is there a changelog anywhere for Oct. 13/14 - havent seen one.

Thanks & thanked...

Sashimi guy myself.. only in part cause I'm either lazy or too darn busy trying to keep up with NRG's ROM's to figure out & change all my setup to XDA UC or .net! NRG ROM's have the benefit of auto restore from UC... which I keep meaning to switch to, but hey... if it works, why fix it?!

...don't know where you dropped in from, but welcome!

Thanks Sly! I checked that folder, and it looks like the filenames are named for registry entries. Like you said, it may not be as simple as a copy/paste. I'll play around with it before next flash. If it works, I'll post here.

NVM - Just saw the excellent guide from Eschelon. Perfect for me, since I use Sashimi.

Thanked both.

re. changelog: not that I've seen (leo, twitter or here)
This is the first time in months I haven't flashed asap... seems this is mostly a theme upgrade, I use regular cookie 2 681, this ROM series is the same OS... Need to see if there are cookie 2 upgrades or significant changes to apps I actually use, otherwise, it makes no sense.. (no pun intended) :>))

+1 usability is a good term

re... Is there any good way to see if you have a TP2 that will OC well (i.e. "good mojo")?
>> not unless you have a buddy that works for sprint & he/she lets you test drive one for a couple hours!! :>) Actually, you could test many devices easy & quick, but you still need a buddy @ sprint to let you pop an SD card into a running TP2 & run the MSM7kcpuspeed app on each, push up the slider on each until it freezes... but even that's subject to debate as some people are of the opinion that OS's & ROM's heavily influence the top end as well... be a quick easy little test though wouldn't it?! :>))

You brought up monthly cost... ahh yea, for some people that doesn't matter... for those people, don't read this link. This thread I started when I EVO'd without looking into plan "grandfathering"... because in the zillion years I've been with Sprint, I hadn't worried about it yet... I wasn't on their bandwagon, so I was bad... (but then again, never been much of a fanboy, bandwagon type..) :>))

These numbers are still accurate. For those of you already on those other high cost plans or work pays for it... nevermind, it doesn't apply to you. For me, I've got other uses for that thousand bucks!

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-evo-4g...r-2x-cost.html

Just my opinion...
*edit* hooot, 1st post on page 2700! wowsers..>> NRG popularity

3 row start menu

I've been trying to change the 4 row start menu to 3 rows on the CHT2 Dinik ROM. I've tried a couple of reg edits and cabs I've found after doing several searches but unfortunately they haven't worked.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.
