you should try this program called jdownloader
get it HERE
i used it to download files from hotfile, it saves the partial download if your internet cuts out so you dont lose your progress
the one thing is you need wait for it to prompt you to enter a captcha

Thank you for your frank reply. However since I didn't see out of the 50 + posts I read how to properly extract it (with the beta of 7zip), I assumed quite honestly that there was something wrong with the archive.

Perhaps a note on the first page the to extract properly you need the BETA version of 7zip, not the released STABLE version would be helpful.
