But weird thing on 23xxx is when you press the button on the bottom and the menu shows up on the top.. so taut to choose 21xxx

23xxx startmenu shud popup like normal PC windows start button does..

On 23XXX where it pops up is the least of my concerns as long as it works & I get the benefits of the free RAM. The focus now is to get it working on 21XXX like it should

For 21xxx users with QMenu, is the problem it doesn't pop up with hard key? I use Rhodium Keyboard Controller to remap my keys. Problem is you can't find it with Q Menu. I always install xtask also, which shows more control panel options. I have short press win key Q menu, Long press xtask. Install Rhodium Key Controller then I put xtask in folder on SD card, navigate to it with file manager, run xtask.
->control->system->keyboard config to remap keys.

me too, had to switch back to normal start menu just to switch lockscreens. However if you install xtask it's there under control.

i overclocked the processor to 710 thinking it cud help, but no go..

Hmmmm theres gotta be a program running thats causing problems... Im almost tempted to flash 21XXX to see what it could be

Well thats 1 attempt, u overclocked & that didnt solve it, now we need someone to chime in that knows 21XXX in and out to see which programs r constantly running like arkswitch does for 23XXX

EDIT: If u can get QMenu to pop up with either key, select QuickMenu>Option... See if these items are checked and NOTHING ELSE is checked because these are my settings and QMenu works great.

GENERAL TAB
Auto start when system start (checked)
Cache file icons (checked)
Replace system's start menu (unchecked)
Register win key of device (checked)
Right arrow to close program (unchecked)
"ok" key to close program (unchecked)
X button of screen (unchecked)
Long press win logo (checked)

I just want to make sure all our settings are the same. If they are then theres alot more investigating to do

EDIT 2: There are a few more tabs but after we knock down these 2 we can go thru the other tabs just to be sure everything adds up as far as the QMenu Settings.

well thanx a lot DatBoiDame for helping around..
But Compact-StartMenu is disappointing me as doesnt popsup on tapping , was glad 2 c so much of RAM, but now feeling to use normal startup until this gets solved..


the other reason 2 use 21xxx is when ever i use 23xxx, in Fring the bottom icon(TAB) gets hidden under start men bar.. as other SIP software doesnt works better..

Sorry just saw ur post, was typing above statements :P

neways the settings r ALL SAME... i even tried to alter by checking replace system start menu, n in long press winlogo> making it system startmen or quickmenu etc... but didnt worked well..
when i press the windows key nxt 2 call button, i mean the softkey menu popsup but after few seconds.. n when i tap on screen it doesnt responds, it only responds first time after soft reset..

Wow Im honestly lost, besides Arkswitch there shouldnt be much of a difference in programs between the builds... Im not that smart of a person so let me stop here before I think too much & have smoke comin out of my ears lol
