Re: |RHODCMDA|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- Energy -.¸¸.·´¯ * |Sep 29| 21916|21680 * Sense 2018

Has anyone else noticed after installing the PRL Mr.X_Sprint_PRL-FW-Profile_Update cab found in the paperclip with the new cookie 21680 that it keeps the data constantly on and drains the F out of the battery? Also does anyone know how to uninstall this cab (remove programs doesn't seem to list it) without a clear storage? I've tried the comm manager and turning data off but it turns back on within ten minutes and doesn't go off unless I turn it off again and I was doing this all night. I apologize if this has been asked before but I did try skimming through the 6 pages after searching PRL and the last ten pages of the forum but I think the prl cab I'm installing is causing this issue unless I accidently deleted something in HTCrie. I've used this utility with several NRG roms with no problem before but didn't notice a PRL issue with past ROMs or in the forums other than the mentioned new PRL not updating. I will try other PRL cabs and report back unless this has already been discussed.
TIA

You can try installing it again. It should tell you it has to remove the prior installation first. Say OK. After it removes the prior installation, it will ask you where you want to install. Hit cancel.

Yes, it does.

I was very excited to see Titanium ROM updated since I use Mobile Shell. However, it suffers from the same battery issue that it had before: the battery icon does not change after you unplug it and it does not show the actual battery meter accurately. The icon only changes if you reboot. And the meter was showing half-full when all of a sudden I got a pop-up that I need to plug in. When I checked details the battery had 5% juice left. I will load Energy.RHODCDMA.21680.Sense2.5.Sep.29 instead unfortunately.

Anybody else having an error: unsupported compression method while trying to open the new titanium oct01 roms? I'm currently using 7-zip to open 7z files and have been doing so for several months and it always worked until today. I also tried unrar on another computer and same results.

So I'm having the same problem with not being able to answer calls as some others. I went ahead and did the #777 reg key, but it kept reseting after manila restarts to "gprs_bye_if_device_off".

I wound up hard reseting, and it worked for a while, but now all of a sudden, it won't hold the #777 again.

I saw a post about the cookie email wiget might be the culprit, but I don't use it at all.

Anyone know how to make it stick without a hard reset?

You have to remove the cookie mail widget.
