have you teseted 21679 ? by NRG or any other moderator (chef) , my personal impression and benchmark shows that IT IS faster than the 21680 . anyone able to dowload the titanium roms sucessfully?
tried to d/l them twice, both times i got errors in download .
tried both 21680 n 21916..
can anyone reconfirm,,, is it a bad upload or just me??

It d/l okay. I opened it as to flash and the RomUpdate Utility screen came up... I didn't flash it cause I didn't want to use Titanium. Where do you get your error?

note : test conducted on a pp of 16 which gave me the highest results for both ROMs .

conclusion :both ROM versions are fast but 21679 is a little bit faster ,which obviously is (I noticed that even before running the benchmark test).
I am going to stay with it until NRGZ releases something beat it .

I never cared much for benchmarks but your results piqued my interest. Could you list your test environment? I compared your SKTools results to mine and they are rather different. You are obviously overclocking, but to what speed, which ROM, AC/batt, anything disabled?

I don't have 61679 tests (I'll flash it and run tests when I do the next ROM flash). I ran three tests on the 21680.cookie2.Sep.29 ROM: Stock, OC @729 w/o Sense, OC @729 w/ Sense:



Regardless of the results, I still think that 21680 feels faster than 21679. Synthetic benchmark results doesn't always translate into the same user experience. Any benchmarks should be taken with a grain of salt.

when i try to open the rars!!
errors in downloaded file.
tried to d/l them twice (both the roms)
and my downloads are slow so its really painful
guess i will try tomorrow.

Well, I was wrong, it still does not work. I also can't find a solution. I don't think it is the ROM. I think it is the Facebook application. It wouldn't be too bad but the touch.facebook.com does not work right either. I am unable to reply to emails at that address. Other then that it looks like everything else is working pretty well.

I did have the non-answer issue but did a hard reset (another post suggested) and it fixed it.

youre absolutely right , I used the safe cht settings and got rid of all the buggy features and ended up with a rocket rom , see my post benchmarking both versions
