Am I the only one having to wipe my device about 3 times a day? it's a lil annoying at this point i'll get a solid use of it for the latter portion of the morning then i'll restart the device and it will freeze up at the Launching HTC Sense screen then asks me to Tap the Screen to Launch HTC and stays there i'll back up my numbers and call logs wipe the device and after a few hours its the same issue....i'm not even going to talk about battery life....smh i'm really about to just give up on this phone and go Evo

I understand the inquiry about the twitter application on the device. I would love to be able to provide a fix for the situation you are having. There is a hot fix made for the twitter application and it will be released with the next rom update for the device. I do not have a release date for the hot fix but I would advise to keep an eye on the pressroom at www.htc.com/us for further information.

HTC
Key word there is ROM Update. Sounds like it wont be a hotfix. So from that point it will mean that a compatible rom will have to be dissected and built into a kitchen and then customized before we see a working twitter tab.

My $1.00 is on about two weeks after HTC rolls out the "ROM" update.

I'm not holding my breath for HTC to act fast on older devices. In their eyes, WM is fading quickly.

From the sounds of it, yes, you are. In that case, then you may have a hardware issue. Start first by removing your SD memory card and then try flashing without the SD card. SD cards do go bad and can cause a problem with flashing. Start there and see how it works.

I just thought I'd post this for people who like to complain about the TP2's battery life, particularly with Energy ROMs: my wife got an Epic yesterday and her battery lasts a whopping 3 hours from charger to battery low alarm. When she had the TP2, she could at least make it until about 8 at night before the battery alarm sounded. Sure, you get a crisp display with very responsive gesture recognition, but you need a small nuclear power plant to keep the thing going. It says something when the pouches for it have a slot to carry an extra battery.
