Why are there no options to disable prefix dialing; like the other ROM. Is this a feature missing in cookie ROM 23XXX or 6.5?

Pictures? Seriously?

ichthus's solution should work though. Just change the PlusCodeEnable or see if you can delete the "+" and enable it? I don't know, mess around with those. Thanks ichthus, I don't know that much about the registry yet so I went right to my strength - MS Office.

In the Mighty Rom I was able to goto CDMA services and disable the prefix dialing. However in the Energy Cookie Rom this option is not available. I have tried Global and CDMA only and I do not see the options. Is there a CAB to enable these option or a reg hack to disable prefix dialing.

Thanks in advance for the help. I sure hope I there is a fix.
Not sure if this addresses your problem, but worth a try before jumping ship:

Thanks tspnews, there is obviously something going on. I wonder if installing the provisioning cab actually installs arcsoft because the fix whiteblazer posted is defiantly for htc messaging. I am running the same march 17 rom as him but I have arcsoft messaging and can not access any of the options that he states fixes the mms. I will and try to reflash tomorrow and see which if arcsoft is cooked in. Anyone know how to edit the server info in arcsoft, it shows verizon as the server but won't let me access any of the settings. Thanks!

Re: Remove +1 Dialing Prefix

You are the man, just for this i think they should change you title. Man I appreciate all the help.

I did what you recommended.

I wonder why they disable these things.

this was found at HKLM/Software/OEM/PhoneSetting. i changed the value to "0", reset and started the phone. Under the "options" item of the main screen "Menu" choice, a new item shows up on the "CDMA Services" named "Plus Code Dialing." when selected, it allows a you to add a prefix string to the dialing code. (see atached .jpgs.)

there is also a key named "PlusCodeDialing" that has several data values. on my phone, the "PlusCodeEnable" was set to "0", and the PlusCodeNumber was set to only a "+."

i hope this helps, if not, good luck.

Re: |R|6.5.5|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy Series 23547/21895 |Mar 19| ★ Sense 2.5 / 2.1 ★

Spent 2 days with the 20th 23549 and got fed up with the lock ups and the spontaneous reboots while playing my music files. Battery life is just the pitts. Even stock flashed and re-flashed with same results. Flashed to stock sprint 6.5 and after 4 calls, 4 voicemail checks, auto email checks every 30 mins, weather updates every hour, bluetooth on all day, and now 12 hours on battery I am at a lowly 72%......man that sucks! At this rate I'll have to recharge my phone every 2 days!!!

Oh and not one freeze, or mystery reboot, my mms/sms works fine, and even my 401K made money today!

Gonna stay on stock sprint 6.5 till the bugs are worked out. Love NRG's ROMs but gonna just be a lurker and check in every day to see what the progress is.

"Hey, Smalls, you wanna s'more?
Some more of what?
No, do you wanna s'more?
I haven't had anything yet, so how can I have some more of nothing?
You're killing me Smalls!"

Maybe I"m the only one, but the March 20th build is working great for me. No lock ups, battery life is fine. I use both push exchange email (to gmail for mail, contacts and calendar) and IMAP to another gmail account. I have bluetooth on all day, weather updates, stock updates, twitter updates, all every 30-60 minutes.

I have not had any particular issues. Running fast and smooth.

Re: |R|6.5.5|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy Series 23547/21895 |Mar 19| ★ Sense 2.5 / 2.1 ★

I've run the 2 newest 53547 & 23549 cookie with no problems but settled on the 21895 cookie. Its stable just like the others and I have had zero problems, but the 21895 just seems a tad bit faster.

But of course we all use our phones for different purposes and conditions. I only install 1 other cab on NRGS roms where on others I need to install anywhere from 5 to 25.
