And in the Multimedia group you will find a bunch more like Camera, Album, TCPMP, In Call Recording and so on. So ALL of the programs you see when launching the quicklink menu are avialable via the start menu, you just have to figure out what category they are organized in. And every new program you install will just be added to the start menu itself. Hope that helps.

I sent a message to cookie and had a conversation with some members about this. There is a possibility that cookie 1.7 may have an "All Programs" style menu like sense 2.1 did. They are working on it. Time will tell. That was the one thing that I really missed. I can live without the programs tab any day with all these quick links, but (Cookie and crew willing) this feature may become available in the near future. I loved being able to find everything in one easily scrolled menu without staring at a start menu for five minutes. This would be awsome for those flashing different roms every week or so. ...though I don't know why you would. Hopefully, the menu softkey can be utilized for this. *Fingers crossed*

I appreciate the effort, however, that's not exactly what I am looking for - wanted to keep it the way it looks with JUST making the bottom and task bars transparent. I know there was a way of doing it with HD walls and cabbing up your wallpaper, however, it hasn't worked at all on my end and was hoping someone else here knew how to do it.

That sounds a little excessive; what's your usage like? If you use Opera often it will drain the battery rather quickly.

My usage in 75% phone and texting and 25% web (opera). I may use the web for about 15 minutes every couple hours. I have email downloaded every hour, but it never drained ny previous roms like this...

Try the base ROM before installing any cabs. Do you have the same experience? For example, I installed gProfile and my battery life went from 1.5 days to 2 hours because of the way it polls.

Once you do this, visit the link in my sig to get some power management settings and cabs to disable services / devices.

Best of luck.

It really shouldn't, but then again I don't use it so I don't know. I manually retrieve my email. What about texting/talking? About 45 minutes every 2 hours?

I rarely talk; maybe 15 or 30 minutes per day. I text fairly often; maybe 15 or 20 texts per hour (sent; another 15 or 20 received). My battery will usually last me all day and I recharge every night.

edit: Yeah use Ninjaduck's advice. I've not needed his cabs or settings, but they've worked very well for quite a few people.

Another thing: what's your signal strength where you are? Are you driving? My battery drains MUCH faster at work where the signal is weak.

I have the sleep of death on my phone. Basically I just turned off the auto sleep in the power section. I'll have to push the sleep manually if I want it to be off. Inconveinient but other than that the rom is good.
