Sorry to keep on bumping this but I think several people are looking for a solution. Anyone have any ideas.

bump; I tried the cookie 3/17 but it does not have options to disable "+1" dialing.

I've just installed this and it's quite nice, note the second screen shot, it also removes the redundant "X" button on the bottom right of screens. Use the hardware back button.

That right there might be enough for me to try running the 235xx ROMs again. I just hated that fugly windows button at the bottom.

And I notice you're in Portland. Nice! Sitting in my office across the river in the 'Couv right now - but working on a project down at PSU most of the time.

Yeah, that's not the taskbar, those are the bars where the carrier name and slider are (I think). To get the taskbars transparent, go to WM6.5 tab, select whatever component you want (taskbar, softkey bar, or both), leave change method to wallpaper, convert, soft reset and you should be good!

awww... I just now flashed the latest ROM. I wanted to ask about a cab file to make 4 columns in the Sense 2.5 Home Screen shortcuts (I understand it is different from the 4 column start menu. Not the same).

I guess I'll wait for the new ROM.

NRG - Please bring back the 4 columns in the home screen shortcuts for Sense 2.5.
